She's very pretty, but looks rather on the skinny side? Though may just be the angle of the picture.
All 3 of mine have been shy/anxious cats when they've come home from the rescue. I just let them take things mostly at their own pace, and push their boundaries just a tiny bit now & again. And just keep chatting to them like you would any other person who lives in your house.
Tobias, the recent one, is a fairly good example. First couple of months there was aggressive hissing & swiping with full on claws if I got a hand within about a foot on him. So I would just go in that far every day until he got a little less worried. Gave him a few days of being OK with that, then started to move the hand in a little closer bit by bit - that was the stage when my hand was looking somewhat bloody & scarred for a while! But now I can offer him a hand within half an inch of his nose, without panic from him.
I also started to stand a little closer over time when he was eating his wet food; he's a fine trencherman (probably from his couple of years of being a stray) so he would be more interested in that than me. I've just finally got to the stage where I can stroke him near enough all over as long as he's eating his wet food. He's still a bit unhappy most of the time if I go in for a touch other than meal times, but the hissing is more a "please don't" than a "I'll rip you to shreds if you come any closer", and the swipe is more vaguely waving at me with the claws almost completely retracted.
Taken me 10 months to get this far, but I wanted to make sure he settled OK with Girlcat. And he's a rather different case having been a stray for around 2 years (most of his life) and your pretty girl has at least had some time being a proper pet. She has a look that suggests that at present she hasn't learned yet to trust you, but is prepared to reconsider over time.
