Would anyone like to meet our new babies?

Some of you will recognise my name as we sadly lost my girl on Christmas/Boxing Day. I hate having a cat-free home so yesterday we adopted two babies who have spent over half their lives in the shelter. Currently hiding behind the dishwasher but I do have a photo or two. Who would like to meet them?

I still get sad about my Bonnie but these aren't going to replace her, just eventually fill that feline-shaped hole at home.

Ours are 5 , jet black M/F siblings .
I can just about tell them apart there's subtle differences . Though I find myself saying "Hello you " so as not to mis-gender them !

Ooh they are so lovely and I am very jealous. I can't have cats at the moment, but when a particular set of circumstances change I will be able to, and I cannot wait to share my life and home with felines again. In the meantime I satisfy my cravings with pics like yours, thank you 😻

Our female walks across the floor with her claws out so she "clicks" on the laminate .
They go out the cat door differently

They burst in through the cat door and canter across the room so we don't know who's come in.

Mine like their own litter tray . Happy to eat eat others dinner but their toileting is all their own.

Definitely Mr Fizzy. He's got a tiny patch of white on his chin and has a much longer, more oriental type face whereas Kizzy is totally back and has a much rounder face.

All the others who are too numerous to remember are gorgeous too! I don't get why people hate black cats. They're just so sleek and lovely. I'm absolutely smitten with my two already, though I do still occasionally shed a tear for my Bonnie. Who was also gorgeous in her own, slightly goofy way!

Too many gorgeous mini panthers! Today we have one very settled, purry boy who is very vocal about his desire to see beyond the Kitchen. We also have a very skittish girl who isn't averse to playing or being naughty when her brother is!

Black cats are adorable 🥰
And a house is empty without cats ( 5 rescues here )

17.5 years ago I was in exactly your position, took 2 all black older kittens that no one else wanted. They rule the roost (and DCat2 is called Bonnie 😀)

They are now coming up to 18 years old and have almost got us fully trained

My kids won’t let me get new cats yet :( they feel it’s disrespectful to Former Puss who died in November (he was 20 so I was probably expecting it more than they were), and I am SOoooo missing cats in the house. Yours are divine.

Aw, lovely micro panthers. Our last cat was black, he was such a character and I miss him.

I am trying to persuade my partner that we should enquire about a tabby gentleman the local rescue have up for adoption. He's an indoor cat and they don't come up all that often. Can't have an outdoor mog due to busy road.

My three panthers were unusually curled up near/on each other today. Raven is in the background, she doesn't get involved in the boys' nonsense. Frankenstein is on top of Toad,I think he's getting revenge for all the times Toad has used him as a cushion or pushed him out of the way.

Aww they are gorgeous! Have had several black cats over the years. Had 2 brothers years ago, 1 short hair and 1 fluffy. Fluffy believed I was his Mum. He wasn't the sharpest knife in the drawer and used to bring us gifts of crisp packets, etc...we have a crazy girl black cat now. May they bring you happiness. 🖤🖤
