Would anyone like to meet our new babies?

Some of you will recognise my name as we sadly lost my girl on Christmas/Boxing Day. I hate having a cat-free home so yesterday we adopted two babies who have spent over half their lives in the shelter. Currently hiding behind the dishwasher but I do have a photo or two. Who would like to meet them?

I still get sad about my Bonnie but these aren't going to replace her, just eventually fill that feline-shaped hole at home.

Oh, I feel you on the 'wont let me change the names'.

I thought of ever so many better names for ours, but guess who still gets faint sniggers at the vet every time?

I have a black kitty now, he's nearly 9 months after the loss of my elderly cat. I've already decided that I'm only have black cats from now on. Absolutely gorgeous x

Exhausted! These two kept being overlooked because they're black and because they're very shy and weren't friendly to visitors. How could I refuse?

Omg they are gorgeous. Identical black cats are great fun. You will learn to tell them apart, but you will have moments when you have no idea which is which.

They are doing very well if out and eating in daylight!

They are beautiful and look very similar to my own two young black cats.
Mine are quite shy but very loving.
It's lovely that you rehomed them, l have three black cats in total, one slightly older and they all get on well.

My favourite cat (RIP) was the last one in his enclosure as no one wanted him cause he kept hiding from people and he was black. I adopted him when I was told that. It took him a while but once he felt comfortable with me he became my shadow. Every day when I got home from work I'd open the window and call him. He'd come running across the gardens to me, shouting at me, until he was close enough for strokes and kisses. I hope your two bring you as much joy and love as he did to me.

My DS moved into his first house in August. In September he said he couldn't be happy there without a couple of cats. He adopted 2 black and white cats. 1 has a moustache marking. They were approximately 8 months old. They hid for about 5 days. Now 1 is a lap cat and the other has taken over his spare bedroom. They will never replace Bonny but will soon fill the cat shaped void. 😻😻

They're beautiful, and the patient approach works. I have one who is ex feral. She's been with us 2.5 years and has only in the last month realised that actually she really loves a good fuss and knows how to purr.
