PickAChew · 19/12/2023 23:24

Because that's what it's there for.

Stresa22 · 19/12/2023 23:24

This is mine. And so is this. And this too.

Newsenmum · 19/12/2023 23:25

I would love to know this. To see if it is nap worthy? Cats need lots of naps on nice things. Also it makes you look at them 😁

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 19/12/2023 23:29

Ours loves paper. I’m a lecturer and pre Covid marked most student work on paper whereas now it’s done online. My preference was to lie on the living room floor - this was standard.

Now it’s more this.

It is simply just the way of the cat 🐈‍⬛

Now it’s more this.

That look ...It's a tough job but someone has to do it.

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 19/12/2023 23:37

She runs a tight ship, and likes all marking completed in line with the student charter.

festivetinseling · 19/12/2023 23:38

Well of course they'll sit on it. Unless it is a pet blanket or bed you have specifically purchased and supplied for the use of the cat. Then it will thoroughly ignored.

DaisyCat33 · 19/12/2023 23:39

If it fits, I sits.

That is the way of the cat.

Mabelface · 20/12/2023 09:43

Because as soon as you put something somewhere, it becomes the property of cat, according to Intergalactic Law, sub section 17, 3.1, which states "any item put down in any place by any human in the home environment is now the property of cat."

goingtohellinahandcart · 20/12/2023 10:26

Next to the presents he helped wrap😁

We will never know. They don't have to explain themselves to us mere mortals.

Cas112 · 20/12/2023 12:13

This is my toddler.. my toddler also does this 😂

FormerlyPathologicallyHappy · 20/12/2023 12:30

@Judystilldreamsofhorses Your cat is moving with the times.

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 20/12/2023 23:08

@FormerlyPathologicallyHappy she strives for more efficient ways of working with every beat of her little cat heart. (Except when she spews reams of nonsense into Teams chats.)

ChateauDuMont · 20/12/2023 23:12

If you have a wood floor and draw a circle or other shape a cat will go and sit inside it! Try it.

ichundich · 20/12/2023 23:14

Because it's new.
