So why do they do it?? I swear I go "Get your bum out of my face!" Several times a day, usually while I'm trying to drink my cup of tea 🤣 it's amazing that neither of them has ended up washed in tea yet, honestly!

I feel your pain! My cat is obsessed with sharing her bum with me, to the point where we have what I call ‘a bum cuddle’ every morning. She reverses herself into my face!

Lol I said to DH last night how rude cats are! They just jump on you, walk all over you, show their arse and if they feel you are the 'chosen one' they may then settle down on you.

But yeah, the bums...like 'look at it, look at it!' Err no thanks...😂

I'm so used to it if it didn't happen I'd wonder what was wrong or miss it . Maybe😄

Cats. Even if you think you are important, they are more so.

Cats also like to jump on full bladders, tummy aches, clean washing with wet paws. Its part of their job description

DD woke up one morning and couldn't see. The cat was sitting across her eyes, bumhole on one, tail across the other.

Dcat1 will do that EVERY time I sit on the sofa with a cuppa, as if to add her bumcrumbs to my tea 🤮
She's now wiping her face on the side of my phone to distract me and alert me to the fact that I'm STILL not paying her any attention. 😼

This thread has made me laugh. I always thought one of our cats favoured DH because the majority of my contact with her is when she reverses her arse into my face. I'm going to take it as a compliment from now on.

Daisy isn't content to stick her bum in my face - she gets on the bed and farts after she's done a poo.

It is a multi-layered compliment, at that.

The best for me was when boycat1 did a lovely diarrhoeay poo in the cat litter tray and then jumped on my freshly made bed with poo on his paws.
