What is one thing you love about your cat?

I am currently lay in bed extremely tired but can't go to sleep yet because my cat isn't back from his evening adventure and I like him to be in overnight.

So while I pass the time I want to read about what specific thing you love about your cat/s! (Also if you attach a pic even better)

He’s very snuggly and also coos like a pigeon

This one is not snuggly but is a great fly catcher 😁

Cheddar is very snuggly, and vocal and loves to be picked up.

Magic has had such a rough start in life and several health problems. And is lucky to be here. But she's such a tough cookie and takes it in her stride. Watching her blossom into the bossy and slightly naughty cat, that she's turned into has been lovely.

Soppiest rescue kitty in town. I seem to always get these very gentle boy cats that let the toddler terrorise them and come back for more.

Very fond of the way Sybil can go from
'look at me I'm really pretty' to
'and now I'm going to kill you'
in a split second.

This is Flynn, my giant orange rescue who acts like he doesn’t give a shit but is actually the neediest boy in all the world! Oh you’re on the sofa, let me join you? Oh you’re working from home? i’ve decided I want to sleep on the desk all day? Oh you’re hugging DH when he comes home from work, I will stand at your feet and yell until you include me… the when he gets fuss at our instigation puts on a face like he’s suffering through it before purring like mad!

he’s also the least agile cat I’ve ever met and regularly falls off things or forgets he has back legs also when he tries to jump somewhere…

God I love him!

Silky cat - she's silky! Plus in the winter she comes under the duvet and keeps me warm

Idiot boy - his incredible confidence and entitlement. It's like living with the cat from Red Dwarf.

We have two boys here. Trevs is about 10 and walts is about 2. Both rescues. Both snuggly, especially with the kids, Both really vocal, which I love. Can't even pin individual things, I just love them!!

I love my baby boy because he's just so cheeky! I'm sure he thinks he's a human. He gives me the best cuddles and steals my seat whenever I stand up.

This boy gets really excited when I get home. He high fives me then flutters his eyelashes at me, with a soppy expression on his face.

I adore everything about Dcat, the purring and head bumps at 4am because she wants a fuss, the little chirping hello, the look of surprise on her face when I go in to ‘her’ garden, the way she comes running when called and the way she sleeps so peacefully with her floof standing on end and paw over her face😻😻

I love the way my cat looks at me. His eyes follow me. I know he loves me. He was out overnight and came in at 6am buzzing. He jumped on the bed purring, laid down and held my arm. I love him so much

I love how needy my boy is when he decides it’s time for a cuddle. ‘You’re using your laptop? No problem, I’ll just snuggle down here on the keyboard’

He sleeps on my head and drools with devotion.

She is ace at killing spiders.

They do love us back but always on their terms. He likes to lay with me all night (when he’s in) but then the next day if I try to pick him up he runs and hides. Such funny things aren’t they x

I have two cats, they're brother & sister from the same litter. I love how they both talk to me! They're very vocal cats, always meowing and announcing their presence when they enter a room. The one on the left (Daisy) will stand up on her hind legs and meow for treats in the kitchen (she did it one time and I thought it was so cute I gave her a treat, and since then she thinks it's the go to move to get treats 🤣)

I love the way that Cheddar takes ages to properly wake up if she's been in a deep sleep. If she's woken up by the sound of the treat packet rustling, she runs down stairs and then sits on the stairs, trying to wake her self up properly. It's adorable!

That he loves belly rubs (and playing fetch)

In both cases the noises they make. She has the most demanding little meow ever and he makes a really a really anxious 'hmff, hmff' sound when he wakes up or wants cuddles.

We rescued her from the streets in November 2022, we think she's about 3, she was starving, had been abused by people and animals, was desperate, has PTSD and is terrified of all kinds of things like sticks, boots, leather jackets, dogs, and she doesn't like being out too long, half hour at the very most, but usually 15-20 minutes, she'll stay in our garden, goes out 2 or 3 times a week but stays home the rest of the time.

We also can't go to sleep without having her back in!

One of the things I love about her is her funny little squeaky voice! We live in an attic flat, including the ground floor, we've got 4 floors and 4 flights of stairs and she's so happy when we open the back door to let her in, squeaking to us excitedly!
