What is one thing you love about your cat?

I am currently lay in bed extremely tired but can't go to sleep yet because my cat isn't back from his evening adventure and I like him to be in overnight.

So while I pass the time I want to read about what specific thing you love about your cat/s! (Also if you attach a pic even better)

I actually forgot that I posted this last night and it's been so lovely to come on here and read all of these!

Omg the pictures 😭 I love all of your cats. They're all beautiful. I've had a bit of a rubbish morning and these posts are making me feel better

So affectionate, and so pretty.

My previous cat (now sadly deceased) - huge orange fella. Absolute dumbass. The thing I loved about him the most was the endless hours of entertainment from all the stupid things he did. Falling off stuff, getting lost in a tiny flat and crying to be found when he was a kitten, looking confused AF when he saw a spider and wondered what the hell to do with it, not being able to find something he wanted that was directly in front of him. He was beyond useless - but an absolute sweetheart who everyone loved, including the vet, and gave great head boops. No cat will ever compare.

Here he is looking very regal in a crown my daughter made for him

Kipling (Ragdoll) when he chirrups and stands on hind legs asking you to pick him up for a cuddle.

Sparky (black) who usually only loves my DD, occasionally deciding I am tolerable and deigning to join me on the sofa/ in bed.

Wanda (oriental calico) when she finally runs out of mad energy and curls up under my chin to sleep.

Sorry to say, but absolutely nothing!!
He is a total nightmare all the time and has been for the last 7 years.
Now my other previous 5 cats, over 40 years, I could write a book about all of the. I absolutely adored every last one of them.
I feel really sad about my present situation.

We have 3 cats from the same litter. I love their individual personalities and the fact I can identify each from their unique meow when our of eyesight.

Cuddly. Friendly. Emotional support.

My siamese boy , hes jusr so caring and always makes me feel better. Also helps me to feel less stressed and to sleep. Cant resisit a snuggle even when working!

My old boy (black) is 14 and the cleverest cat I’ve had. We have an understanding where he can show us what he wants and he’ll lead you to different places depending if he wants a drink, biscuits or to be let out. So clever.

The terror (grey and white) is not quite a year old and a menace. I think he’s going to be a big boy when he’s fully grown but he’s so cuddly. I love him.

Rescue cats make the best cats. Both were feral kittens and born on the streets so didn’t have the best start in lives but we’re making up for it now.

I know it's an oldish thread but I can't believe I never posted on it.

One thing I really love about my current pair is how affectionate they are. Daisy's positively clingy, she wants me to be on the bed All The Time so che can cuddle up. Phoebe loves laps and washing the humans' faces.

She isn’t a lapcat but she does love a chin rub and she follows me about the house, it’s lovely. She comes down from her bed only when she hears me come in after work and mostly waits for me to be ready before coming down for breakfast in the morning, even though it is DH who feeds her.

And she is incredibly fluffy and beautiful 😻

The papers are on her seat because she doesn’t like the buttons🤣
