What have you done to annoy your cat today?

This is Betsy. Betsy is annoyed today and this is why:

1. I didn't let her lick the brown sauce off my plate when I had finished my bacon sandwich.

1. I attempted to brush her (the most heinous of crimes). And now she has a knot behind her ear which is also annoying her.

1. DD(13) thought it would be fun to dress her up as E.T.

How have you annoyed your cat today? Pictures to back up please 😂

@RightOnTheEdge ivy had to have tablets recently. Could not get them down her without losing a limb. In the end I crushed them and missed on a spoon with lik e lix. Honestly she went crazy for it!! Try it if you are still having to get tablets down x

Went into the dressing room.

Sprayed her with my hose when she declined to get off my raised bed & was making like she was intending to do her business there 😾

Dcat bought in a moth. She clearly thought we would reward her for her incredible hunting skills with an early late night supper and that hasn’t happened so she is off sulking somewhere. She pops out if we get up to try and trip us up😻

The only recent picture I have is of her sleeping on our bed in a very odd position this afternoon😻

Touched her paw!

We’re on our second day of being cold shouldered. He had a sore/gunky eye, so we took him to the vet yesterday. He had an injection and, oh joy, now has eye drops twice daily.

Nothing they love me wholeheartedly and that's why I love them ♥️

Decided to have a lay in till 9am, cat.master.likes to be fed at 7:30am for breakfast. He was unhappy that his slave after much purring and meowing on the bed did not wake up. So he bit me 🙄 genuinely broke the skin and made me bleed.

Accidentally passed wind very loudly and startled her. Am now persona non grata. It didn't smell though, your honours!!!

I have to open tins of beans outside or James thinks he’s getting tuna and makes me feel guilty all night. I literally have to go outside with my tin and tin opener!

Also if I buy a bag of chocolate (maltesers etc) I have to open them outside and decant them into a tub so they don’t hear it or they think it’s time for dreamies and then make me feel guilty for every bite!!

(Is it weird that I actually haven’t done anything to annoy them because I live by their rules???!!)

Caught and released the new mousy friend she was playing with in the kitchen. And wouldn't let her out to be reunited with it.

There are alit of very unreasonable humans on here today. How our long suffering felines put up with is is a miracle.

But it's bank holiday Monday!! Also I'm pretty sure she will sleep all day whether it's a work day or not 😂

@RightOnTheEdge I hear ya. I know I've done something really wrong when my girl cat switches bedrooms.

One of my cats has been particularly annoyed with life today. No idea why, but he's been a git all day, pestering for food, playing the "let me in - no - I want to go out - no - I want to come in again" game, winding up his furry cohorts, you name it. I think it's even got to the stage where he's begun to get on his own nerves.

Betsy wasn't allowed to climb up the new curtains this morning. She is currently glaring at me from the windowsill...

I heard Haribo howling downstairs and got up to find he'd been locked out of the living room. I found out from my partner that he had brought a bird into the house which was thankfully still alive. He's annoyed with my partner and not me today😄
