What have you done to annoy your cat today?

This is Betsy. Betsy is annoyed today and this is why:

1. I didn't let her lick the brown sauce off my plate when I had finished my bacon sandwich.

1. I attempted to brush her (the most heinous of crimes). And now she has a knot behind her ear which is also annoying her.

1. DD(13) thought it would be fun to dress her up as E.T.

Absolute nothing , they jumped on the bed at about 9 this morning and have stayed there all day.

Sneezed. Unacceptable.

I gave her a pouch that she doesn't like. Obviously it's been replaced immediately. And I wouldn't let her have my new yoga block after she chewed the last one in the middle of the night and left little pieces all over the house that I was finding for days!
I may also have given both cats kisses without their express permission!

Nothing! I'm in cat heaven :)

Rearranged the furniture in his bedroom. How very dare I. He has spent the morning glaring at me from the roof of my neighbours shed.

(A little stray has turned up on my street and I put out a cat kennel the other day in case she wanted somewhere dry to sit. It's pouring today and the poor thing looks so content and relieved curled up fast asleep in there. Defo a stray, have put down food and water and when I can I'll get her to Cats Protection.)

Got up and dressed after only 40 minutes cuddled on the bed with Boycat, just because I wanted my first cup of tea.
Finished reading a thread on MN rather than dropping everything to go in the other room the second Girlcat summoned me.
While they were on different sides of the bed, only fussed them simultaneously for 10 mins every single time I passed the bedroom door on my way to and from the loo as my back was sulking because I had to get into an awkward position to do both at the same time.
Only fed Boycat 2 small teaspoons of Ardennes pate.

Something else, no idea what, that offended Girlcat mortally, but that's every day.

Accidentally pulled the felt tail off her favourite mousie toy! The look of horror on her face was a picture.

My DBro sent me a video of his cat taking apart the plinth in the kitchen.

Carefully putting his claws through a tiny gap and then pulling the plinth free, before walking off.

Not sure he's a fan of my DBro's DIY skills.

Taken 4 dead rats off her. God knows where's she's getting them from 😬

She will have found a nest. Ivy did this with feudal voles last year 😢 I tried keeping her in but she is like a little Houdini and kept turning up on the kitchen windowsill with yet another one in her mouth. Poor little things 😢

I refused to get out of bed promptly at 6am when one of them woke me

When I did go to feed them the portion of horrifically expensive KatKin food wasn’t enough

i refused to share my breakfast.

I wouldn’t let her drink my coffee

I didn’t make the rain stop.

I stopped one of them trying to eat a chilli

She wanted me to hand feed her the watermelon popsicle from the silicon mole not put it in a bowl.

I could continue….my female cat in particular is a right mardy madam.

Mine? Dead easy - adopted them a new companion on Friday. She's adorable - looks lovely. Have I mentioned that her swearing, growling and hissing would get her banned on here!? My boy has been a total gent until lunch time today. He is uber-placid - when I rescued him he was the youngest of a group of 10 - so I am sure he has seen it all. But today even he lost it! A long week ahead! Picture of the incomer.

My cat is just in a general mood with me.
I've had to take her to the vets a few times lately and she keeps getting prescribed antibiotic tablets which have resulted in me feeling like a pin cushion and her throwing them back up everytime. She's had an injection now instead but I feel like she will never forgive me! 😭
She's moved from sleeping in my bed to dd's and giving me a death glare everytime I go in!

I didn't dry the path or grass in the garden after it rained, so his delicate paws would get wet if he went out. He didn't go out, he just stood at the door looking in disgust at the wet path.

Bopped his head on the door cos he stood right behind it as I opened it. Oh and I also laughed at him as he got his tubby belly wedged between the bathroom door and the radiator and got stuck for about the millionth time. I wouldn't mind but it happens every time he follows me in there. He's too impatient to wait for me to open the door myself so paws it open so far try's to get out and gets wedged. I upset him the other day too when the smoke detector went off whilst I was in the shower cos I'd forgotten to open the window. Had to jump out quickly and run into the hall to turn it off thus creating a few puddles on the floor. He wasn't happy cos it would've meant getting wet feet to go into the bedroom for his food. Yet he will happily prance about outside in the pouring rain getting piss wet through

He couldn't have a margarita. The whinging had to be heard first-hand to be believed....

I went away overnight, girl cat is going to hold it against me for a few days. I called her earlier and she came running, realised she had forgotten herself and totally swerved my hand to go outside instead. Dreamies and a little bit of my dairylea have not thawed the ice queen

I brought him in from the garden before he wanted. Tbh he would stay out all day if allowed, but I don’t want him to leave the garden, as he’s only baby, so he has to be watched all the time.
