We weren’t ready after BastardCat died suddenly in March but Little Beast joined us a couple of weeks ago and is wonderful. Currently purring loudly whilst giving me nose kisses and making biscuits on my chest - claws retracted.

Is he a Siamese 😍

@Sleepinghyena sort of Siamese. Apparently ‘they’ create the breed by crossing brown Bengal with a Siamese and call results Bengal Seal Lynx but to be honest, I think all made up nonsense. Even better specialist cat vet unsure. We adopted (at accepted risk) from a rescue. He’s had loads of health issues (hence dumped at rescue) however, you’d never know it; his default is 100% on and he’s a nutter plus cuddly.

It's true, we got GirlCat from a rescue only a fortnight after our lovely Boycat died 3 years ago. She doesn't replace him but she brings so much joy. The fact was, we suddenly had a home which needed a cat and she was a cat who needed a home.

We lost our gorgeous dcat a couple of weeks ago and are already looking to fill the vacancy. He has left such a big hole in our lives. Watch this space...

This cat is really the best beast ever to heal my heart. He’s so different from BastardCat which is a good thing. I can still mourn BastardCat whilst welcoming Little Beast into my life. Honestly, I’ve been blessed with the most playful, cuddly beast ever!

I lurvve him. Just watched whole of ‘Strictly’ with comatose, purry beast on my chest. I can highly recommend this way of way of critiquing . . . anything. . . We’re off for more sleep.

I know it looks like Little Beast and I spend our whole life on the sofa but not true! We play a lot and he’s also really good at entertaining himself. The whole house has been turned into kitten playground.

I know not helping my case in claiming we’re not stuck to sofa but . . . He’s stressed out by Strictly Results - he doesn’t want anyone to go home.
