Best way to heal your heart - when ready

We weren’t ready after BastardCat died suddenly in March but Little Beast joined us a couple of weeks ago and is wonderful. Currently purring loudly whilst giving me nose kisses and making biscuits on my chest - claws retracted.

I was inconsolable when Madam Kat was diagnosed with end-stage kidney failure. She drifted away in my arms, helped by our lovely local vet
Months later, I'm crying whilst typing this.
A dear friend found me a beautiful tabby thug-cat, who'd been abandoned when his previous owner was admitted to a care home.
He's been with me for a month, and his large fluffy feet are definitely parked under the table, and my duvet as well!
He hasn't filled MK'S space in my heart. He's created his own. He rejoices in the name of Kevin!
