Magic is cross because I had the temerity to catch and release outside the mouse she let loose under the sofa. She's giving me the most withering looks.

I didn't let ivy dig her claws into my nipple.

She is now sulking on her daddy.

FlatteredFool · 19/10/2021 05:58

I let the live mouse go just now and refused to let the cat out to go and find it. He has been very vocal about this and is now sulking. I don't appreciate him apparently and I'm ungrateful.

RandomMess · 19/10/2021 06:58

Didn't stop it being too windy to have her daily walk on the roof.

Chemenger · 21/10/2021 08:57

Starved her since last night, stuck her in a box and took her to the vet to get spayed.

FlatteredFool · 21/10/2021 10:11

I let him in and he decided he wanted to go back out. Then an hour later come back in. And go back out. This was all from around 1am. He sat at the bottom of the stairs the last time and I tried on his tail because it was dark. Any sensible cat would have moved towards the door instead of risking being trodden on. I wish we had a cat flap even though he's not our blinking cat!

Fluffycloudland77 · 21/10/2021 12:20

I didn’t fuss her after breakfast, still wasn’t talking to me when I left for work and giving me her best cloud jumper dragon stare at the top of the stairs.

cricketmum84 · 21/10/2021 18:20

Today I stroked Betsy below the neck (we call this the danger zone). I think it may scar.

Owlink · 21/10/2021 18:27

I did leave some leftovers but not enough leftovers apparently.

Told her without looking at her that the lid was on the butter dish, so she was wasting her time.

So two ways to offend her - 1. Lid on the butter dish and 2. Letting her know she is in fact neither invisible nor as silent an elegant as a Barn Owl.

She's sulking on the sofa next to me with her arse pointed in my direction.

Lynne1Cat · 21/10/2021 19:28

My Mr Cooper was hanging around this morning, wanting me to leave the door open so that he could sit on the mat and look out - he didn't want to actually BE out as it was cold, but he didn't want to be in, either. He was most annoyed when I closed the door and kept him in.

Kloppy insisted on staying in last night

PresidentJoey · 21/10/2021 20:45

Oh, didn't finish posting there!

PresidentJoey · 21/10/2021 20:51

FFS! It was warm last night but he wanted to stay in, I let him but with conditions. He bounced off my head at 5am so got swiftly turfed out, little bugger.

MMM2 · 21/10/2021 20:51

I actually had the nerve to put a clean blanket on her cat bed, shes not happy, !!!

I get the ass pointed in my direction at least once a day. For imagined slights.
NeverDropYourMooncup · 21/10/2021 22:06

TBH, her arse is fairly attractive, being extremely fluffy yet sleek, so it's an improvement on THE EYES BORING INTO THE SIDE OF MY HEAD ALL THE FUCKING TIME.

She's now issued the Ultimate Insult. She's wailed plaintively at the door because DP had the temerity to go to the shop for the entire duration of his absence which she never does for me and then, worst of all, she's taken herself off to go to sleep in the armchair instead of 0.000000000004 microns away from me at all times other than when she's clambering on my chest at 4am and causing my watch to register a big drop in O2 sats.

cricketmum84 · 21/10/2021 22:18

The blanket wasn't perfectly straight in the middle of the sofa between me and DH.

She is now sat with her back to us on the floor. I tried to call her back up but I'm apparently the lowest of the low right now 😂

CollieDug · 21/10/2021 22:29

I took her photo that was not her best angle.

Toddlerteaplease · 21/10/2021 22:41

She is beautiful! (From whatever angle!)

Toddlerteaplease · 21/10/2021 22:42

I'm unsure if Magic has forgiven me for the terrible hair cut she got from me yesterday. Needs must!

Downsize2021 · 21/10/2021 22:48

This is why i want a cat.

Heiferr · 21/10/2021 22:55

They're both pissed off that I've started shutting my bedroom door at night. They use my Dry Soon as a climbing frame, knock things off my chest of drawers and zoom in and out when they're chasing each other. I lock them out so I can sleep, It's like bloody Jumanji in here otherwise!

FlatteredFool · 22/10/2021 05:25

I returned her to her actual owner to ensure she was fed. Cruel adoptive owner I am.

Iveputmyselfonthenaughtystep · 22/10/2021 05:32

Moved the week blanket off the seat of the sofa onto the back of the sofa. The black beastie had been perched rather wobbily on the back of the sofa all day looking sad and disappointed. He actually squeaked when he first jumped up on the sofa and realised 'his' blanket had moved.
I'd replaced it with the chap fleece blanket intended for Sir's usage but he will accept no substitutes and determinedly imparted as much black fluff as possible onto the cream, wool blanket...

Iveputmyselfonthenaughtystep · 22/10/2021 05:33

*wool blanket. Not week
