What have you done to annoy your cat today?

Magic is cross because I had the temerity to catch and release outside the mouse she let loose under the sofa. She's giving me the most withering looks.

What have you done to annoy your furry overlords today?

This morning She was sleeping on my bed but I turned on the Nolan Investigates podcast to listen to whilst doing my morning exercises then I turned my hairdryer on. She shook a paw and wandered off to the lounge. Ouch.

I tried to put her flea stuff on back of neck. .she can smell it from 20 paces. she's very angry and I only got half on.

I keep the flea stuff in the bathroom, she wanders in quite often but the noise when she realises the door is shut and the flea spray is out!

Today she went to sleep on my arm and I had to move her because I needed my arm.

Trevor has the hump because I accidentally dropped the remote and scared the life out of him! I did apologise but he bit me!

I was not impressed by the gift of live baby mouse at midnight and had the nerve to put it outside. He showed his displeasure by shouting loudly instead of sleeping then clawed my back to get my attention to let him out to try and find the mouse. There are no dreamies in the house so I'm an all round failure today.

Emmy was on my bed when I got out of it this morning having had an early breakfast and settling down for her first nap of the day. Well I had to make my bed which disturbed her!

The other week I really upset her because I brought her in the house as she was outside terrorising a frog

And now she's sulking because I'm working and can't stroke her multiple times

Yet another interloper has turned up in my garden, and Ambrose is not impressed. He has given said interloper many slaps about the head, for his trouble. Ambrose has had to have a lie down.

She was standing on my breast, and it hurt, so I gently moved her paws. Her feelings have never been so hurt.

I shut the back door. He likes to be out but I am not allowed to shut the door, I have to freeze on the sofa or he shouts at me! If I leave it open, he'll play outside for hours, if I shut it he screams to come in then screams to go out again exactly 10 minutes later. I can't have a catflap as it's a rented property so I can see him being very grumpy this winter!

@purplesapphire we have a cat flap and are still asked to open and close the door frequently!! (Is there a window you can leave open a crack instead? If not you better stock up with fleeces.

I haven't annoyed my cat yet today....it is only 6:30. She's annoyed me as this past week She's decided she loves me more and has started to sleep here or, like this morning, to come in at 6 for love, cuddles and purrs. She's gone now of course and I'm awake.....on Saturday....the day with no early football match!!

I played the song 'Halloween Spooks' which has some crazy laughing noises. She looked at me like "Is that you? Please stop."

I have the audacity to go to the loo several times a day.

My boy always sits outside the door and begs to be let in (scratching and meowing) so now I let him in the bathroom with me… he sits by the door shouting at me to let him out!

I think his preference is that the bathroom is used with an open door so he can sit and observe from the hallway each time 🤔

I refused to get up and help my foster cat look for her kittens at 1am, 2am, 3am and 5am. She’s so disgusted with me that she will sleep all day so we can start the search again tonight. Said kittens are living it up in their new homes. She’s a tiny thing with a voice like a foghorn. Thank goodness for earplugs.

Wow I didn't know that. I can understand her being annoyed with me

I stood on one of mines foot this morning as he was right behind me when I was in the cat food cupboard, he's also a little pissed off that I didn't let him upstairs first thing this morning because he meows outside my eldest sons bedroom door.

Tadgh and Moose not happy as breakfast was a few minutes late and I had the temerity to take out the dreaded hoover!

George is sulking as I got up first this morning, let him in and gave him breakfast. He then charged up the stairs, sat on DHs head to wake him up, then looked most aggrieved that groggy DH, in search of coffee, refused to give him 2nd breakfast. It was only 10 mins after the first one.

We had a visit from a snake and a tegu, and six primary age children. There were also balloons. Also people opened and closed the front door without letting her out, repeatedly.

Banned them from eating the hamster. We play this game most days. The hamster taunts them and I banish them from the room.

This morning borrowed cat 1 yowled to come in and was soaking wet even though his actual owners have a covered area in their garden plus 24/7 access to the garage. It's like it's my fault he was caught in the rain because he's not sensible enough to take shelter.

Told him he has a vet check up and annual jabs in the morning
