By popular request, a furtherance of the Saga of TC the Stripey.

For anyone unfamiliar, this is a story of a war of attrition over the last two years waged by a fat stripey cat on the innocent and long suffering members (feline and human) of the Grumpy household. Now running at almost 3000 posts, clearly TC would give Grendel a run for his money

All literary references welcome, we've already had Shakespeare, Saki, James Thurber, The KJV bible, Judith Kerr, EM Forster, Benny Hill and of course our own Supersimkin2 (to name but a few).

Losing a limb wouldn’t hold tc back anyway. It’s just a scratch.

I am missing the adventures of TC…

It has been a while! He has made an appearance on the regular cat-chat thread but not here for a while. Maybe Grumpy is finally admitting that he's one of his cat family after all...

Yup I bet now the weather has turned TC is curled up on Grumpy's sofa being fed Dreamies by the man himself, but he's too embarrassed to admit to that on here.

Or TC has broken in using a door left open by Mr Grumpy, carnage ensued and Mrs grumpy is not happy and now TC is in the dog house more than usual.

I'm afraid I'm on holiday at present (a week in Suffolk) so there will not be any TC updates until next week. Definitely suffering cat withdrawal symptoms here, only seen one cat in our village (in the church yard) and he legged it when I called him 😫.
For completeness here is the photo of TC from a few weeks ago plus another taken at the same time. I'd gone to let NDN's dogs out and TC was inside as well. He very politely mugged me for food. I later discovered that the dogs, being disgusted that I didn't feed them too, trashed the kitchen after I left. Oops!

NDN's son is feeding our cats, so goodness knows where TC will be when we return tomorrow. 🙀

Thank goodness it is not the reverse situation in which Grumpy's offspring had been asked to feed TC. I would be worried we would have an Edward Lear Scenario:

That depends - how keen is he to move TC out of his house as TC is to move into yours?

Quite keen, TCs fans are few in number but loyal.
