Thug cat part 4. After all, it's not my Axminster.

By popular request, a furtherance of the Saga of TC the Stripey.

For anyone unfamiliar, this is a story of a war of attrition over the last two years waged by a fat stripey cat on the innocent and long suffering members (feline and human) of the Grumpy household. Now running at almost 3000 posts, clearly TC would give Grendel a run for his money

All literary references welcome, we've already had Shakespeare, Saki, James Thurber, The KJV bible, Judith Kerr, EM Forster, Benny Hill Shock and of course our own Supersimkin2 (to name but a few).

I want TC to see my home as the spot he enjoys tummy rubs.

A different personality CATegory !

Fluffycloudland77 · 06/08/2022 00:33

He has artistic range which just adds to his greatness.

YetAnotherSpartacus · 06/08/2022 09:01

It was all a bit unclear as to whether TC was claiming to be female or had been misgendered. :)

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 06/08/2022 10:52

Just opened the front door to this. I think he may have been camping outside.

@Grumpyoldpersonwithcats Well you did give him Dreamies.........!! 😆😆

TC is innocently dozing on the patio, next to the boat cover. Or so I thought until I realised that Karl is underneath and has his exit blocked.

Made a mistake! Poor little lad. Havelock my ndn reminds us all that Sharing is Caring.

We all know TC always has an angle. It’s only the lady 4 doors down who thinks he’s a sweet little pussy cat who likes chin rubs.

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 14/08/2022 15:53

We've been vegging this afternoon, windows open. Mrs Grumpy went into the kitchen and then summoned me to see who was asleep on the kitchen table...
We called NDN to come and collect him - his removal was accompanied with hissing, growling and biting. NDN suggested leaving him with us. 🙀. And Sybil was no bloody good...
You have to admire him - this was a seriously good stealth attack - and he'd emptied the food bowls.

Haha pic 3 looks like TC version of 'come over here if you think you're hard enough'
Love that cat.

Fluffycloudland77 · 14/08/2022 16:07

The heats affecting us all. Poor Sybil clearly hates him.

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 14/08/2022 16:10

This was immediately prior to NDN picking him up.

It really does and I concur with your second sentence!

Fluffycloudland77 · 14/08/2022 16:57

You need the neighbour who thinks he’s a sweet little Puddy tat to come and get him. He’d do anything for her.

Fluffycloudland77 · 15/08/2022 17:05

Did he go home in the end?

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 15/08/2022 17:29

Yes, NDN took him away. It avoided me having to find a pair of gardening gloves.
He was sitting outside the front door again 15 minutes later.
Haven't seen him today though - he's obviously resting after his most successful incursion ever.

Falconry gauntlets is what he needs. At least it saved you getting a tetanus and a course of antibiotics.

YetAnotherSpartacus · 15/08/2022 20:18

Go TC!

Was that an unconcerned Sybil in the background?

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 15/08/2022 20:41

Was that an unconcerned Sybil in the background?
It was - she really wasn't bothered at all. Stayed in her box the whole time, including during the eviction process.

Look at the tired little lad, pathetically grabbing a few seconds’ rest on the neatest surface cos too frail to stand and gratefully, humbly clearing others’ food scraps.

I’m practically in tears.

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 29/08/2022 19:22

Round at NDN's house this evening.
TC has a superior position to the dogs and batted the sheepdog's rail earlier.
Two choice photos enclosed.

Look the brave doggo getting as close as he dares.

One day NDN will do a moonlight flit and TC will move in with you as de facto owners. It’s all been part of their master plan for years.
