By popular request, a furtherance of the Saga of TC the Stripey.

For anyone unfamiliar, this is a story of a war of attrition over the last two years waged by a fat stripey cat on the innocent and long suffering members (feline and human) of the Grumpy household. Now running at almost 3000 posts, clearly TC would give Grendel a run for his money

All literary references welcome, we've already had Shakespeare, Saki, James Thurber, The KJV bible, Judith Kerr, EM Forster, Benny Hill and of course our own Supersimkin2 (to name but a few).

Well TC was happily snoozing on the car bonnet when some idiot dumped a small model railway diorama next to him. Said idiot then took photos to appease a group of anonymous strangers who appear to worship him that he knows nothing about.
I think it's fair enough to be perplexed .

Poor TC ... although I suspect he is rather used to the foibles humans by now!

DS1 is wearing PPE (his dressing gown) to stroke TC's head this morning.

He does look majestic in the sun.

I loved the railway photos. Grumpy's homage to Mittens, the cat who appears in his owner's cat slaves's model railway. I think somebody (apologies for forgetting who) posted a link to it on The Litter Tray a while ago:

The dressing gown PPE is a good idea but leg protection is probably needed too.

I'm quite impressed with TCS ability to balance all his feetsies on that balance beam whilst being stroked by DS1...is he practicing for his position on the UK Cat Gymnastic Olympic Team ?🏅🏅🏅

I think he knows he's is universally adored, in the same way he knows Grumpy's house is as much his house as his actual house is, and how he knows Sybil loves him really and how he knows how happy he makes Grumpy when he finds him on his car.

The yellow car has a flat tyre, which I really must sort this evening. I'm not absolutely positive that TC has used his claws to puncture it, but he does seem particularly happy that I'm not going anywhere at the moment.

And I have no idea why my phone did this, but I seem to have a series of pictures of
TC waving me away
