By popular request, a furtherance of the Saga of TC the Stripey.

For anyone unfamiliar, this is a story of a war of attrition over the last two years waged by a fat stripey cat on the innocent and long suffering members (feline and human) of the Grumpy household. Now running at almost 3000 posts, clearly TC would give Grendel a run for his money

All literary references welcome, we've already had Shakespeare, Saki, James Thurber, The KJV bible, Judith Kerr, EM Forster, Benny Hill and of course our own Supersimkin2 (to name but a few).

I can't see TC as the kind of cat you approach with a Sharpie.

How does he get on doing ordinary cat things like going into a cat carrier and going to the vets? I'd imagine that's a 4 person full PPE job - but then i also have a sneaking suspicion perhaps he's only a bully outside of the house and his real name at home is Mr Tiddles and he's got a special blankie he sucks at night.

Well, sometimes, he savaged his dad post fight with intruder when dad tried to get him out from under Grumpy's car, but I'm putting that down to post fight adrenalin still coursing through him.

TC is definitely persona non cata today. I went outside to discover the little furry fucker spraying up the front door. At least he had the good manners to look sheepish...

What has happened to TC's legs in those last photos? Poor thing is so emaciated he has to drag himself around using his weak, under-developed shoulders

Yes! And probably some antibiotics. I am sure that Grumpy would be happy to administer them.

We've noticed spray marks on the door before, but only now have we caught him in the act.

I showed NDN the photos from this morning and he commented that TC seems to have developed extra stripes on this one. Personally I prefer the idea of him just being behind bars 😹

TC thinks he can mark Grumpy's house because it is his. I'd also check the roof of your yellow car, Grumpy, as TC is very proprietorial about that as well
