Tabby appreciation thread (with pics)

Hi all,

I have a 4 month old tabby kitten called Ellie (tortie sister called Esme), and she's been very shy until yesterday when she wanted to play and purr and snuggle. First time for her, yet her sister is the opposite and won't leave me alone. I'm so happy she's finally mellowing, so thought I'd start a tabby appreciation thread

Everyone's cats are so gorgeous I love Tabby cats

This is my little 2 year old rescue Nixon. He's only been with us a couple of weeks but has settled in nicely and is looking forward to going outside in his new gaff, but until then likes chilling on the sofa with cuddles. Softest, most attention seeking cat I ever met He's also very small for his age? Potentially as a result of being malnourished as a baby we're not sure.

My old boy is 18 now and I’ve had him since he was 6 weeks old. His kidneys are failing and he’s pretty needy but I’ll miss him terribly when the time comes.

I have a sort of tabby - very dark charcoal tabby so unless the light hits her JUST right she looks black. Definite tabby stripes on her head, legs and tail though. She's smoke too, so fluffy silver undercoat. No pic, as I never seem to be able to get one with the stripes showing and I feel posting one with her looking just black would be cheating.
