O slept all night with his head on the pillow next to me. Not a peep out of him

Looks like The Howling has ended. Something of a relief for you :)

Mr C sprinted this very morning for a Dairylea triangle. He's after a third breakfast now.

Bugger reading for a bit, watch Rik and Morty on netflix. Screamingly rude and funny.

Ollivander84 · 09/08/2018 10:07

I've never tried him with dairylea Blush poor deprived cat

LanaorAna2 · 09/08/2018 11:51

Nurse Lee suggested it. Going down a treat here.

cozietoesie · 09/08/2018 15:20

Rick and Morty?

cozietoesie · 09/08/2018 15:48

Ah. Found them.

LanaorAna2 · 09/08/2018 19:55

Yes! Keep going. Are you enjoying it yet?

cozietoesie · 09/08/2018 20:35

Not yet.

LanaorAna2 · 09/08/2018 21:14

Oh dear, sorry. Dribbly Drunk Grandad and Craven Teen is not everyone's cup of tea. Stranger Things is insanely good if you like sci-fi. I'm about to start on Roman Empire, which is new on Netflix. Looks promising.

Ollivander84 · 09/08/2018 21:57

Ollie is on guard outside the window. Important cat things

Mr C is cold. In 48 hours temp has dropped by over half - 35 to 15 - lovely raining here. He has wrapped his little fat legs round my arm to use as hot waterbottle, better go back to it.

cozietoesie · 09/08/2018 22:37

Have already started the 'Roman Empire'. Very classy production - Cleopatra actually walks into Caesar's chamber! Grin

Ollivander84 · 09/08/2018 22:55

New favourite chill out spot. Apparently I should watch him, and not the TV in the bedroom

Well of course you should. Smile

LanaorAna2 · 10/08/2018 08:52

Be warned...

Next move: sit on the PC. Take that, love rival.

Winning move: learn to turn it off.

Mr C knows where the power key is on this machine.

To his disgust his paws are too big to work it bwa ha ha! Grin

O take care sweetheart - tech jealousy costs a fortune, I got through 8 pcs last year and the new expensive one is knackered already where a furry bum split the hinge. Make sure your telly is wedged in so he can't knock it over.

Allergictoironing · 10/08/2018 09:06

Ha ha ha I've cracked the tech thing. I use a full blown PC - big chunky case under the desk, no room for cats on the keyboard/mouse shelf, and the top of the desk has loads of pointy uncomfortable crap lying about (headsets, spare specs, keys, e-cig refill bottles, pens etc).

Also due to the other crap in the very small study, the only possible approach when I'm on the PC is from behind. Girlcat sneaks up behind me and STARES, which cuts right through the back of the chair & stabs me. If she gets impatient (how DARE I work & earn her treats!) she lets out a teeny tiny squeak which pierces my heart.

LanaorAna2 · 10/08/2018 12:00

Grin smart move Allergic

Mr C's had a lot of mince out of the pan in which I just started bolognese. Only the sound of the stove clanking as he landed on it alerted me. Shameless, he's back sitting on me, didn't turn a whisker. Tomato sauce tonight. He might at least have looked guilty.

cozietoesie · 10/08/2018 14:39

Difficult to look guilty when you don't feel it in the least. Grin

Ollivander84 · 10/08/2018 14:46

Less shouting last night. He does it a LOT when I get home from work, mostly if I'm doing other stuff.
If I sit and cuddle and gaze at him, there's silence
Actual stuff like cooking/cleaning then all howling hell breaks loose Hmm

OP posts:
cozietoesie · 10/08/2018 14:58

Needy. You hit it on the head, upthread. Grin

LanaorAna2 · 10/08/2018 16:54

Well, quite. Thing is, I really do think the animal might have the sensitivity to pretend to look guilty. That way, honour is satisfied for both parties, suggesting I'm not a completely hopeless pushover.

I've bought him some reduced ham, anyway, his favourite oak-smoked from M&S.

I'm dying to watch the Roman Empire :)

cozietoesie · 10/08/2018 16:56

......, suggesting I'm not a completely hopeless pushover........

Unh Huh.

LanaorAna2 · 10/08/2018 17:02

I know occasionally I can be a bit reluctant to make an issue of things with him Grin

He is very good though on the whole, sweetest nature you can imagine, really.

cozietoesie · 10/08/2018 17:16

He's a honey bunch. Smile (Nurse Lee saw it.)

Fluffycloudland77 · 10/08/2018 19:12

Whenever asbo is naughty all morning dh often ends up buying him tinned salmon to cheer him up or a new mousie toy.

He does similar with me. after snapping at him "well you fucking drive then" I got a bunch of tulips.

I have my good points too.
