What breed is my cat??

Hi everybody.

I know it’s a long shot, a very long shot, and I’m not asking for an exact answer, but I’ve akways wondered what breed my kitty could be?

If anyone is a real cat enthusiast and has all the knowledge of breeds, it would be interesting to know!
Thankyou Wink

Well this took an unexpected catty turn

YetAnotherSpartacus · 25/04/2018 09:43

What a beautiful cat! She looks well-loved too :)

Want2beme · 25/04/2018 10:24

OP if you're still watching your thread, your cat is beautiful.

I have a white girl and I was told by the first vet I took her to that she was a shorthair domestic (moggie), who may have a siamese parent - not sure about that though? I found her when I lived in another country, in the middle of the road, crossing right in front of my car, in an absolute sorry state. I took her to the vet straightaway and was told that she'll always be a very nervous girl, which she has been. She is basically an indoor cat, but she goes out into the garden with me and I don't let her wonder off as she wouldn't be able to cope me either . In the country where I found her, the vets think that animals are over vaccinated, therefore, they're happy not to do so if the animal is mostly indoor and doesn't mix with other animals. My vet in the country where I live now, who I trust implicitly, feels the same way about over vaccinating. She has a check up once a year, has her rabies jab for her passport, and is microchipped. Like your girl, she isn't deaf, which is great. I do put sun screen on her ears and nose when necessary, but she just licks it offGrin

What is wrong with Marley there, Grumpy.

pictish · 25/04/2018 20:37

Marley is gorgeous...what are you seeing that I’m not?

Want2beme · 25/04/2018 21:13

When I looked at the link earlier, it was of a grey cat with sticky out lower teeth, but he was lovely.

I've just seen 3 longhaired tuxedos on there, so have had to move away, as they are my weaknessGrin

LanguidLobster · 25/04/2018 21:26

She gawn.

I would tentatively accept Marley. What are the conditions? Hmm We habe yo be cautious here.

LanguidLobster · 25/04/2018 21:26

Being habe yo is a good thing.

GertrudeCB · 25/04/2018 21:35

MN is very strange tonight......

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 25/04/2018 21:54

I don't like cats.

They are all bastards.

LanguidLobster · 25/04/2018 22:05

Want2mebe the cat forum got invaded by AIBU last night, the equilibrium needs to be restored.

After all it's looking at and taking care of and admiring pussies.

Anyway I don't know where mine are she probably wants more Harringtons or similar

Want2beme · 25/04/2018 22:53

I like your version of my username Languid. Think I might change it Grin

Yes, it did get a bit fraught. I only spotted this thread this morning and really felt for OP. Hope he/she comes back.

Just got my outdoor girl in from the verandah roof. She wants to be out later and later as the weather gets milder. She's in for the night now. Hope yours are back soon.

LanguidLobster · 25/04/2018 23:18

Chardonnays!! Bad, bad girl.

Want..to..be..me.. oh the bugger is lurking nearby, night x

LanguidLobster · 25/04/2018 23:20

I've always liked Chardonnays, she's being inflammatory :) Won't work

LanguidLobster · 25/04/2018 23:22

And she loves it if you put xxx after a message

Xxx

kittenpawss · 25/04/2018 23:44

Awh OP come back. Your cat is gorgeous! And my feathers would be ruffled in your situation too. Don't listen to anyone else, I know what you meant and I read your comments thoroughly🤓🤓 we don't all bite!! X

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 26/04/2018 03:39

Please ignore my comments on the link above. Battersea now have a different cat called Marley.

I would strongly recommend Battersea as a rehoming centre. I've now had four Battersea kittens (2 seven years ago and 2 recently) and all have been really well socialised.

LanguidLobster · 26/04/2018 07:15

Aww that's sweet. I can't have anymore than my one but congrats on yours.
