How often do you clean out the litter tray?

By that I mean empyting it, washing/cleaning it and refilling with fresh cat litter.

I have two indoor cats using one litter tray. I usually clean it out once a week. However I recently had an op and it's been 2 weeks now. Thinking I will attempt to clean it out tomorrow.

I have two cats who both go outside but come back in to use the litter tray. I scoop out poos twice a day and clean the whole tray out about every 4 days ish. We use catsan but I can still smell the tray after a few days so as soon as I get a whiff it gets cleaned out.

We have four cats and two trays. Scoop poop out immediately and change litter twice a week.

They go outside to play but come inside to use the tray 🙄

Bluebell is that the litter that's left after everything has been scooped? Cause I'm scooping a couple of pounds of clumped litter a day, I reckon (not including their poos).

We have our litter tray in the cupboard under the stairs and a cat flap in the door so it's in its own little sealed room. She can go outdoors but rarely does. DH scoops often and whole amount is changed once per week.

One cat (big Persian) who is an indoor cat. He has two covered trays. One gets a thorough clean about every 5 days, the other one gets used less so gets done every two weeks.
I have just started using Catsan prepared filled liners. They are expensive but good when I’ve not got much time.

i have 4 cats, but 2 prefer to go outside, its only the kittens that use the tray, and i have two trays.
I clean out any clumps and poos at least every day, often twice. Rarely clean the whole thing out.
