Help please stray at my door

Oh god I came home from work and there is a stray at my front door. DH informed me it's been here for hours crying and scratching at the door. It has even let itself in when a delivery came.

It has no collar and a bit underweight.

I have 3 DC and a dog

Tried the rspca but closed.

I don't know what to do. Any ideas?

Will get hubby to take a pic for FB but I doubt it will be claimed with no collar?

I can't listen to it crying all night but also DH is off to work soon and I am alone with the DC and dog.

Any advice appreciated!!

Lovely update. That is one smug looking cat!

I do love a happy ending 👏🏼

That's fantastic. Cat's assimilation is complete. Does she rule the roost with the dogs?

Ahh what a lovely thread! Really made me chuckle.

I love the photo with the cat and dog, you can tell she was thinking ‘yep, this is my spot now’.

Fantastic update! I know someone at the gym who takes her cat away (destination dependent).

Mia184 · 24/08/2018 06:09

That's brilliant! Thanks for the update!

She's so beautiful and elegant!

Who's her favorite human? does your dog still use a litter tray?

Papergirl1968 · 24/08/2018 08:58

Lovely update.
I bet your reluctant DH is now her most devoted slave!

Shuggas · 24/08/2018 17:48

She's so lovely Smileher fav human is my eldest daughter- mind you she does fuss over her at every opportunity Grin DH gives her a lot of fuss too!

She has been away with us a few times now which is fab.. she has a lead and has a break at the services with us (although last time we went away the RSPCA turned up at our door as someone reported us for dumping her there .. we clearly didn't but they said it's an unusual sight to see people walking a cat about and the lead is quite small so likely someone mistook what was happening) we were shocked to hear that people actually do that! Shock

Scoob dog is still settled with her but she is deaf and going blind so sometimes a little jumpy when cat is a bit close, but cat knows that and tries to pass quickly and as wide as she can in small spaces. She doesn't use the tray.. she instead opts to eat what cat produces if we don't get to it first! Confused
