I'm excited!

It's been 3 years since my lovely girlie cat Daisy passed away, and feel it's time we got a new furry family member. The kids really want a cat to love too.

Hoping she likes us and we are a good match.

Went to see her earlier with DS and I've said we'll take her.

For us, the RSPCA checking out our house just meant them looking at the positioning of the house on Google Earth. Making sure it wasn't near any major roads etc.

Black cats and black and white cats get overlooked so much. She is gorgeous!

We got out b/w girl from a rescue last year, she had been waiting for a home for 5 months because a) she was so timid and b) there were so many kittens in. She was 5 years old, half a tail and spent most of her time hiding.

But she's a cheeky little character now and really sweet.

Aww can't believe black and white cats get overlooked..she is such a doll!

Now we are looking for a new name..can't stand 'Adel'!

Was thinking of:

Bobble
Lily
Rosie
Luna

Anyone got any suggestions/thoughts on the above?

How about naming her Cleopatra

When I was 6 we got a lovely black and white cat and I named her Princess Rose It didn't last, my mum used to call her My Cat as she couldn't bring herself to use her proper name. Before long, she was known as Mie ( pronounced my) which she was until she died after someone shot her. Black and white cats are the best!

Cleopatra is a great name, a bit long though maybe

I like Lily, but there is actually another black and white cat next door called Lily so it could get confusing

If you like Cleopatra but think it's a bit long how about Cleo.

Signed the adoption papers earlier, we are picking As Yet Unamed up on Saturday

Going out tomorrow with DD to buy cat litter/tray and a scratching post. Food we will get at the weekend.

I worked for a company that had a 'Maggie' as the HR director..she was a dragon..I couldn't inflict that on my poor puss!

I had to rename our kittens. They were Gin and Tonic when we collected them. Not going out at night shouting for Gin!!!
