Left me to clear up more like. Grin

cozietoesie · 13/10/2017 19:07

Ronnie

I’ve just never seen one that was so thoroughly.......spread about. Still, you’d have thought that he’d have eaten it.

Yes. I’m suspicious. Gawd help any mice who venture upstairs.

Weedsnseeds1 · 13/10/2017 19:14

Today's bargain purchase at the shop of wonder was four packs of chicken
lik-e-licks for a pound. Wasn't sure the fussy beast would like them, but he's hoovered one down and spent the last few minutes re-checking the bowl in case he missed a bit Grin

cozietoesie · 13/10/2017 19:16

Chicken is the current favourite at cozietowers.

Weedsnseeds1 · 13/10/2017 19:52

I expect he'll have gone off them before we make it to box two Smile

Allergictoironing · 13/10/2017 20:37

I too am surprised that he didn't eat the spider. Mine eat virtually nothing except the approved "proper" cat foods, Boycat did deign to nibble on a shred of chicken this evening but it was tiny, both ignored the other piece I put down for them, and both gave me looks of disgust when I offered a bit of ham. However more than once I've caught Girlcat with a couple of long legs dangling out of her mouth, so she's catching & eating either Daddy Longlegs or spiders (or both).

cozietoesie · 13/10/2017 20:56

Daddy long legs are different, though. (They’re a favourite Siamese prey.) I suspect that it was they - if you saw legs.......dangling. They get stuck in their teeth. (Sorry to those of tender disposition.)

Ollivander84 · 13/10/2017 21:01

Ollie attempted to catch a fly by flapping his paw at it. Utterly useless. He seems to be "friends momma! Not food!" Hmm

It’s that feeling that you’re constantly being watched. (And listened to.) it’s almost as bad as having a flipping working collie. (They’ll actually evaluate what you’re wearing........Grin)

Ollivander84 · 14/10/2017 01:49

Has he been on the bed today?

Happy Anniversary Darling Ollie!

Lanaorana2 · 14/10/2017 11:10

Feline company is rather, er, supervisory. I know what I'm supposed to be doing at every moment in the day thanks to Mr C. Includes sitting down and feeding myself (titbits) so the regime is not brutal, but it is very, very strict. He tolerates MN, but that's his concession.

Toddlerteaplease · 14/10/2017 11:43

Happy anniversary very lovely Ollie. Any chance of a separate feed to celebrate. Hoping for Ollie pictures.

Fluffycloudland77 · 14/10/2017 14:47

If Ollie wasn't neutered I wonder how many other people around there have really affectionate cats?.

I think the new neighbours accross the road have got a cat. I saw asbo sniffing around their house last week & he was having a slanging match with a b&w cat I've not seen before earlier. I chucked water in the bushes & he ran accross the road to that house.

Ollivander84 · 14/10/2017 15:22

Oh god BlushBlush
There's probably a herd of noisy cuddling cats
Does he look fat?

I know there's a whole herd of mine around - he was one of 60 removed from one house!!!

cozietoesie · 14/10/2017 16:26

He was recently on the bed - to retrieve two small treats - and stayed to have a long wash. Smile

Lanaorana2 · 14/10/2017 17:34

O he looks lovely and slim! I secretly prefer cats of substance myself.

Yaya to washing on bed. Another notch upward on Newboy's wall of emotional growth.

F oh very dear re asbo and his new neighbour. Hedge dispute that ends up in Daily Mail on its way, I suspect.

Mr C slashed me above the eye (mistake) so I can't get my eyebrows done & dyed them myself (big mistake). I look like mad Rik out of Rik and Morty - cloud of chaotic pale hair, thick black furry monobrow. OK.

Mr C has sneezed every day this week and was off his sweets last night for 20 min. Vet?

Fluffycloudland77 · 14/10/2017 18:06

Sounds like it Lana. Is he eating?.

SuburbanRhonda · 14/10/2017 18:12

I planted some seedlings last week and pegged out some netting over them to stop my two from pooing on them.

This is what one of them did instead 🙄

cozietoesie · 14/10/2017 18:29

Think positive. Smile Maybe the heat will help germination?

SuburbanRhonda · 14/10/2017 18:41

I wish, cozie.

They're all squashed flat now 😐

Lanaorana2 · 14/10/2017 18:52

Is eating wet and dry and sweets and titbits. But I will ring anyway.

Fluffycloudland77 · 14/10/2017 18:56

Have you got any new soft furnishings? I'm thinking feather stuffing.

Fluffycloudland77 · 14/10/2017 18:58

Technically Rhonda that's been a roaring success. He's no actually pooed on the seedlings.

No one mentioned crushing them. You moved the goalposts there.
