The others have met them and it went well - DP has fallen in love with little Dre, so we may have three forever cats soon!

caoraich · 26/09/2017 22:23

Fingers crossed for you atsea - has the vet any idea what might be going on?

Freya and Maisie have been enjoying their catio but I had to rescue Maisie from a very high ledge this morning. She didn't realise she could jump down into the tree!

EachandEveryone · 26/09/2017 22:25

Is he the one with the scars? You have to keep one and ideally the two will go together its just the way it is.

TheCatOfAthenry · 26/09/2017 22:45

Dr. Dre is the really small black and white one.

Little thing was so weak, but has developed a really funny little personality.

I'd love to keep them all, but sense is still prevailing a tiny little bit!

Duck has the most wonderful fur, and Eminem is slowly getting less shy and more trusting. Sweet things the lot of them.

Stable cat is kneading me. Or tenderising me. Not sure which. I don't dare move anyway

Maybe stable cat is, well, stabilising.

Or the tenderising thing...

You'll always know where to find her.

EachandEveryone · 27/09/2017 21:40

I've brought them home from the cattery. Dolly has the runs and missed the tray. I sent dry food but she's had something different wet. That's what I'm thinking. They are both refusing to come away from the £200 cat tree they've never looked at before because it's on the landing of the flat and both made an escape to the front door which is on the main road which they are never allowed to go out of!! Ignore the joint disgusting carpet the neighbours landlord refuses to decorate or replace it and mine won't do it herself.

And just for Yet - this is what he does when I snuggle him. If you put volume on you can hear the purring 😂😂😂

Freya has just come hurtling through the catflap yelling at me, then climbed up my head and subjected me to a thorough headbutting. She was very wet. I am now quite damp.

In her 9 months of house-catting she appears to have forgotten that rain exists Confused

EachandEveryone · 29/09/2017 23:04

My Dolly is vomiting still she did it on my bed as I was getting ready for work about twenty minutes after she'd eaten. I don't know what to do I'm not off til Monday.

TheCatOfAthenry · 30/09/2017 08:59

Poor Dolly. I only saw this now. Hoping she's ok. Out of hours vet?

YetAnotherSpartacus · 30/09/2017 09:17

Oh Ollie! He really does adore you Ollivander! And I could hear his little motor going :)

Hope that Dolly is OK :(

Allergictoironing · 30/09/2017 09:52

Dolly may well have just bolted her food in reaction to being v hungry after having the runs, bolting food always makes Boycat throw up shortly after.

EachandEveryone · 30/09/2017 10:03

I know i dont know whether nbm is best or just to plough on. She actually stopped herself eating but its hard to judge because im on nights i always leave a secret bowl of biscuits in my bedroom incase they get too nervous to go into the kitchen to eat Blush and its been empty the last two mornings. Shes just had to wet but she waited for Daphne to start eating and then sge had abit. Im not playing with her i want to see if that mskes a difference. I need to sleep i finish tomorrow morning then ill decide re the vet. Im a nurse i should know what to do!

TheCatOfAthenry · 30/09/2017 11:29

My vet advises boiled chicken for puking. NPO has funny metabolic effects and cats can get unwell from it quickly.

EachandEveryone · 30/09/2017 16:15

Yes well she had a small vomit whilst I was asleep she's happily playing in the bedroom it's been six hours since she ate. It's totally not as bad as earlier so I might just carry on feeding her. I do feel like i need to sort her feeding out I have got her on adult instead of kitten I hope it's not that. She's addicted to all cat sweets so maybe I should stop them for a while she screams the place down for them, she's become really vocal should I worry about that? Like she's really loud.

Vinorosso74 · 30/09/2017 22:07

Keep offering food cats can get seriously ill v quickly if they don't eat. Hope she's better soon.
It's been an eventful day here. Got home this afternoon and next door neighbour came to tell me he thought our cat was stuck in their other neighbour's garden. Of course they are away. DP had to climb up ladders, balance on top of wall whilst ladders where passed up and over. Vinocat was retrieved and DP did same in reverse. She was fine, heart racing a bit. Can in tail in air had a huge drink, bit of food then "helped" put together Ikea drawers.

caoraich · 30/09/2017 23:19

How is she now, Each? Have you tried popping her near the sink and giving running water to get her to drink a bit?

Vino I shouldn't laugh but that sounds like it was perhaps quite comical to watch! Cats love Ikea don't they

Today was a moment of cuteness- Freya came up while I was drying my hair, it had suddenly started raining, she was soaking wet and kept giving me head bumps and meowing.

I dried her but she kept meowing and then ran to the top of the stairs. Followed her down to the french doors and she said "meow!" and was pawing the doors.

So I opened them and Maisie went "MEEEEOOOOW!" and shot out from under the outside table and into the house! She'd been caught in the rain but obv didn't want to dash to the catflap.
Cute that Freya wanted me to rescue her!

Vinorosso74 · 30/09/2017 23:39

The funniest was DP balanced on the wall clearly uncomfortable but didn't want to comment in front of the neighbours. Am so glad they spotted her as I don't know how she'd have got out, not sure how she got in. All ok now. Poor thing is almost 15 and a bit frail but clearly enjoyed the drawer assembling.
