I think I may have found The Toy for Girlcat. I had some Zooplus points so when I ordered their food I got a pack of 6 Trixie toy mice. Just 5cm long plush, with a stringy tail & with catnip inside.

She's completely forgotten i't suppertime any minute, and is flinging the one I offered her around the room with gay abandon. Been at it longer already than any of her other toys can hold her interest for (e.g. Da Bird).

cozietoesie · 06/09/2017 21:22

I must order one of those corrugated cardboard cat scratcher beds that someone recommended from Zooplus. The current lounger is showing signs of frenzied use! Smile

Allergictoironing · 06/09/2017 21:39

Well she's finally stopped killing it and had some supper - an hour after it was served. She's usually the one that follows me into the kitchen then trips me up as I take the food into the living room so she can get to it immediately!

cozie he did appreciate being missed and has had many many head bumps
I feel left out! Boring woman who is here all the time to actually feed them 😂

cozietoesie · 06/09/2017 23:00

You can't tell cats who their 'person' should be, unfortunately. Next time he's away, you'll likely find he phones to find out how she is - and not you. Grin

Well I turned 50 today and I'm on mothers Tombola Babycham. It was bittersweet as my dads terminal but it was nice to see him and my mother getting on. I miss my girls I cannot wait to get hold of them tomorrow!!

cozietoesie · 07/09/2017 01:03

Hope you had a decent birthday, Each. Smile

HemanOrSheRa · 07/09/2017 01:17

Happy Birthday Each Smile.

Woo hoo! The school holidays are OVER. Normal service has been resumed. Here is Frankie Knuckles being smooshed by Dad.

liverbird10 · 07/09/2017 10:47

Are you back?

EachandEveryone · 07/09/2017 15:02

Just. I crept in

cozietoesie · 07/09/2017 15:05

They're fine. (Giving you the cold shoulder but Hey Ho.) Just be absolutely normal - usual routine. They'll feel stupid soon enough. Smile

TheLongRider · 07/09/2017 15:06

You'll be ignored until they deem you've suffered enough!

YetAnotherSpartacus · 07/09/2017 15:07

^or until you shake the treats bag.

liverbird10 · 07/09/2017 15:58

I am adopting a new kitten. She is coming home tomorrow for a trial weekend to see how Phineas takes to her. Fingers grossed!

Oh don't be put off over a weekend you will have to put her straight into another room he won't know she's there until one of them breaks it down! What's her name?

liverbird10 · 07/09/2017 17:47

Aw, New Kitty is a cutie!

cozietoesie · 07/09/2017 17:51

She's a pretty wee soul. (Quite a dominant cat I'd guess?)
