I don't know if it's the weather or the fact that I'm in a flat and I now have two. I've been out 16 hours today and it's been emotionally draining all I want is a cuddle off my babies and a glass of red. Instead I'm emptying bins, washing cushions and throws and disinfecting everywhere. Funnily it's the hallway where the baby doesn't go that hits you as soon as you walk in. There's no air in there. I think it's the food. Even the dry food smells through the packets! How do you keep on top of it?

remove poo as soon as it hits the tray
change trays before they start to whiff - I reckon this would be every other day minimum with two indoor cats
BIG YES to dental care - any time our cats have been smelly, it's because they've been licking themselves with a slightly manky mouth, which obviously then gets manky mouth smell all over them. gross.

Correction - the Okoplus cat litter I use isn't the same as World's best - it's called Cat's best. Anyway, good stuff!

Sorry if someone's suggested it already, do you use covered litter trays Each?

I've just had cause to use a can of Dettol Pure Air spray ( rodent problem), I can confirm it works REALLY well at neutralising nasty smells.Smile

I have a very expensive mainly covered litter tray and use worlds best litter. I've put that down to one of them not liking the change of food so I've had to go back to Felix for her. I didn't realise the dry would smell almost as bad as the wet!

I see you already have a litter locker there in the background. I like the look of that litter tray.
