Whatever next Grin

Ski37 · 06/07/2017 18:53

alpacasandwich I laughed out loud at your post and how your cat decided to wake you up- that was until this morning when I was also woken up by the cat rubbing his bum in my face 😼

ElizaDontlittle · 06/07/2017 19:47

Hope you got some sleep Each and the ward's not too boiling tonight have I mentioned how relieved I feel when I hear you talk that I don't have to do nights any more!
Babycat is going to a friend's for his holidays and crazycat is going to a new cattery and although I expect she'll be grumpy with me just because she's a cat that likes to rule the world, the place looks amazing. They can't share - not yet, maybe not ever - and he arrived without very much planning (ie. was kind of dumped on me with less than 24hrs notice by an acquaintance!) and also he's so sociable at the moment - I suspect he'll actually be happier with my friend and her 2 boys than he is here... what I'm going to do then I don't know!!!

Today, he's had his jabs and slept on me in front of some more tennis, he's not really picking up the finer points of the game Grin. and tomorrow is my last day at work til the 25th yippee

ElizaDontlittle · 06/07/2017 19:48

Blimey, essay, sorry!! And NO picture!

Aw where are you going? Is that the jabs finished now? We have one more. The neighbour commented that Daphne has lost weight I didn't dare tell her it's all the exercise chasing after the new one. I'm keeping her a secret I dunno why!

cozietoesie · 06/07/2017 22:18

The little one is very beautiful, Eliza. Smile

TheCatOfAthenry · 06/07/2017 23:38

Biscuit is in a paper bag. Cookie wants me to draw her like one of someone else's French girls.

It's freezing here! Freya and Maisie are now hiding under the duvet after an afternoon staring at DP while he skipped in the garden (he's a boxer, not a 9 year old girl, just to clarify Grin )

TheCatOfAthenry · 07/07/2017 00:32

@caoraich I had to read that sentence 3 times to work out we weren't talking about a boxer dog - was picturing a DP out frolicking with a puppy rather than skipping rope type skipping. Brain is frying this week.

Lovely cats though and I don't believe my cat judgment skills are impaired. Grin

cozietoesie · 07/07/2017 00:33

That picture looks just as if Freya is making some comment (about DP?) and Maisie has cocked her head to listen. Grin

EachandEveryone · 07/07/2017 09:45

I've just got home how do they manage to unplug the telly and the phone???? Every time I'm on nights I come back to find all the essentials unpluggged. They are having their breakfast do you think Dolly will have a big swishy tail?

Cats still catting Part 4
TheCatOfAthenry · 07/07/2017 09:48

@EachandEveryone she will! ❤️

They're so lovely!

EachandEveryone · 07/07/2017 10:25

They are so good as soon as I get into bed in a morning they know the drill Daph gets up above I wonder how long it will be before she no longer has a quiet place!

Fluffycloudland77 · 07/07/2017 11:50

Swishy tails get poo lumps in them sometimes though, a wide tooth metal comb fetches it out easily.

Asbo is in the cattery now. I bought him a new scratch pad for the duration but when I went in they had a huge sisal covered tree bough with sheepskin hammocks. In addition to little wooden chalets to sleep in/on. It's about 6ft by 4ft.

I left the pad in the car to save my blushes.

caoraich · 07/07/2017 12:08

Oooh each I think she will have a lovely big fluffy tail

Athenry that's hilarious!

And cozie I agree. I often think they're having conversations. Maisie is a lot sharper in the brain department than our lovely but dim now-departed Juno and she and Freya always seem like they're planning something! Today she stabbed an unopened packet of dreamies with a kirby grip she stole while "grooming" my hair. Freya looked on in what I assume was approval. They are now both eating dreamies Hmm

Ollivander84 · 07/07/2017 14:54

I just offered Ollie some smoked salmon and he stalked off in disgust ConfusedHmm

OP posts:
cozietoesie · 07/07/2017 14:56

Seniorboy despised smoked salmon. Smile

Ollivander84 · 07/07/2017 15:05

Horrible momma. Go away Grin

Try him with some finely chopped sirloin. That used to prove.......acceptable. Grin

Ollivander84 · 07/07/2017 15:30

I don't eat steak so he certainly isn't having any Grin (I'm a weirdo and don't like it)
Apparently warm scrambled eggs is very acceptable and much better than stinky fish

I've been feeding him natures menu senior and he's literally picked out every single tiny bit of cod, they're about the size of a grain of rice!

OP posts:
cozietoesie · 07/07/2017 15:36

Ah. The Country Hunter only comes in meat varieties. (The only fish that Seniorboy didn't despise was tuna in brine. Which he didn't get. Smile)

Ollivander84 · 07/07/2017 15:48

He loves the country hunter but it's quite pricey so I tend to alternate between that and the normal natures menu one. He can't have beef as he throws it up so limited on choices!

caoraich · 08/07/2017 10:08

Maisie has decided that the fancy cushions are for her use only.

Can't upload a pic of her cheeky face on here for some reason but here's a link! www.instagram.com/p/BWQH29Rl5xO/?taken-by=freya_and_the_kitten

TheCatOfAthenry · 08/07/2017 10:24

And Maisie deserves those cushions.

Biscuit loves walking on his new leash. Cookie is insulted by both the harness and the outdoors.

caoraich · 08/07/2017 10:42

Good for Biscuit! Though entirely reasonable for Cookie to be insulted by harness.

Freya wore hers twice and then dragged it under the sofa. She knows I'm too much of a slattern to move sofa and retrieve it, as then I'll have to dust.
