2.2 is pretty tiny.

dementedpixie · 14/08/2017 16:37

I weighed my 2 very scientifically using bathroom scales today. By my reckoning Storm is 3.6kg and Dusty is 4.1kg - they are 9 months old. Do you think they will get any bigger now? Is it 1 year that they're considered adult?

EachandEveryone · 14/08/2017 16:45

I'm just at the vets waiting for Daph to be weighed I'm already embarrassed

The nurse has given me a load of food for the mummy stray cat. How kind.

Vinorosso74 · 14/08/2017 16:48

It is tiny. Unfortunately the combination of diabetes and IBD doesn't help. I am concerned she may not be with us much longer if she gets any thinner Sad.

cozietoesie · 14/08/2017 17:02

How old is she again?

Vinorosso74 · 14/08/2017 17:11

14 coming up 15. Our vet is great, a real cat lover too and has mentioned about quality of life (possibly in the not so distant future). That said she prescribed 6 bottles of insulin today so she's not too concerned about longevity!

cozietoesie · 14/08/2017 17:18

Achhh.

Does she have a very restricted diet?

EachandEveryone · 14/08/2017 17:24

Daphne is 4.7 and the vet wasn't impressed Dolly is 2.45 at four months
Both are on the bus with me now Daphne has decided she is the baby and doesn't like public transport and Dolly has been the brave one today

Yes Hills z/d is the only thing not to cause suspect poo, boiled chicken or turkey breast occasionally is ok. She's a tough little thing tho so as long as she's happy then I am. May as well have a photo (squinting in the sun)

She's a pretty girl despite her problems. Smile

Vinorosso74 · 14/08/2017 17:59

We think so but then again all cats are beautiful.

TheCatOfAthenry · 14/08/2017 20:05

Sedated kittens everywhere!

cozietoesie · 14/08/2017 20:07

How come sedated?

TheCatOfAthenry · 14/08/2017 20:12

After GA - Biscuit neutered and Cookie had a dental extraction. They're all snuggly and droopy!

EachandEveryone · 14/08/2017 20:16

How old is biscuit I'm booking mine in for next week

cozietoesie · 14/08/2017 20:18

Ah. They'll likely be full of beans by tomorrow morning. Smile

cozietoesie · 14/08/2017 20:20

We'll need a new thread to follow their progress properly though. Smile

EachandEveryone · 14/08/2017 20:24

has mummy cat not come back for it yet?

cozietoesie · 14/08/2017 20:25

Is it still out there?

dementedpixie · 14/08/2017 20:25

Do you know where she went?

TheCatOfAthenry · 14/08/2017 20:30

@EachandEveryone he's just about 4 months now. Their drunkenness is a little sad rather than funny. Blush

cozietoesie · 14/08/2017 20:33

Mine have always wandered around in a 'If you keep moving, they can't get you' kind of way. Dogged.

Then they crash out at about 9.30 and sleep through.

EachandEveryone · 14/08/2017 21:18
