Does anyone know if the short haired one is likely to get hair balls from constantly cleaning the fluffy kitten and does the paste work?

cozietoesie · 12/07/2017 21:43

Each

Your poor friend. She must be beside herself.

Is there any chance that her girl was already pregnant when she came to spaying?

EachandEveryone · 12/07/2017 22:25

You'll like this photo. Poor little thing. No she won't be pregnant my friend has a state of the art cat proof fence they are a very pampered family. I think that's probably why she waited til 8 months apparently she woke up frown the anaesthetic and started shouting at them all straight away and her would just burst open.

She's had a tin of tuna and my friend said they won't charge her for staying in tonight!

EachandEveryone · 12/07/2017 23:54

I would love to meet them but dont get invited. I think her house is upside down with them she had to get underfloor heating put in for them and everything. She got her first one off her granny when she was six and so started the love affair. I would totally love to meet them. They dont even let her get in the shower id be a nervous wreck!

EachandEveryone · 13/07/2017 07:24

This is why ive started to lock them out of my room on a night. I must of been exhausted they dragged everything down

I've started to do the same @EachandEveryone. When it was just Cookie the worst that would happen was having my face kneaded lovingly, but the pair get up to mischief!

Fluffycloudland77 · 13/07/2017 08:23

4 Siamese? Is she single??

My cats going to be properly miffed if he finds out other owners have underfloor heating put in, he has to make do with the hot water pipes under the landing.

EachandEveryone · 13/07/2017 09:17

Four singletons from the same breeder the oldest is 8. She gives them a couple of hours and that's it they all in together. Two boys two girls just her and them I do t know how she gets any peace. The breeding dies worry me but mine she says if people stopped buying them they wouldn't exist, when I see Siamese in the cattery they are generally surrounded by chaos she is forever tidying up after them.

Can I ask what are I all feeding yours? I'm trying to get Dolly off Felix by mixing it but she's still picking it out.

YetAnotherSpartacus · 13/07/2017 09:37

I love Siamese, but I have to admit I prefer the old style or traditional ones that were common in the 70s - the ones that looked and behaved more like ordinary cats with points and slightly elongated faces (and which were mainly seal pointed).

EachandEveryone · 13/07/2017 09:39

Oh I guess she was a 70's baby so that's what she started out with she was devastated when those two died In their 20's

YetAnotherSpartacus · 13/07/2017 10:15

My understanding is that the older style ones lived unusually long lives for cats and had few health issues. They were also heavier, stockier and louder than the new style ones and less neurotic.

EachandEveryone · 13/07/2017 12:37

Bloody buggars I'm having no qualms about getting another cat sitter now that I know they literally do sod all except sleep. Rather beautifully.

My two were staring fascinated by my pipes just now. It was weird. Then a baby mouse appeared. They just stared. I've thrown it outside. Any ideas how I can block the home by the pipes? I'm trying not to think too deeply

cozietoesie · 14/07/2017 00:43

They might learn. I'd give them a little longer. Smile
