What's interesting is that they generally know just how to do it. Instinct kicking in I guess?

TheLongRider · 15/05/2017 13:45

Sleeping in the laundry basket on top of the pegs.

She was just beating the snake though in a 'what the living fuck is this? Kill it to death' manner.

Ollivander84 · 15/05/2017 14:15

Ollie is being "helpful"
"HOOMAN has stitches! I KNEAD them better"

TheLongRider, he/she is beautiful. Grey and white cats are the loveliest.

TheLongRider · 15/05/2017 15:28

Posey paws is right, he was on top of a hot radiator at the time. It's still one of his favourite places.

cozietoesie · 15/05/2017 17:22

I recall bringing home a 14 week old Oneago - who was so supremely beautiful that he could have held up a chocolate box picture all by himself. He turned out - unusually - to be very good at giving audiences (I'm sure that the adoration helped) as long as you gave him advance warning. Blighter would 'arrange himself' I swear. Grin

TheLongRider · 15/05/2017 17:53

Mine primps and preens in front of strangers when they go all gooey-eyed at him.
I think he's just a mog, but he's quite fine-boned and slim for a male, about 4kg. I sometimes wonder about his ancestors... Maybe his great-great-granny entertained some gentlemen callers.

HemanOrSheRa · 15/05/2017 17:59

He is very beautiful Long. Lovely eyes. Are they blue?

Lanaorana2 · 15/05/2017 19:03

C, W I am hoping I will be out on the same day because it's the Thursday of the bank hol and can only book Mr C a cat nanny for one day. Also all my family are away and no one can be my next of kin to collect me, so I'm going to get the bus.

Everyone is telling me this is a bad idea.

ElizaDontlittle · 15/05/2017 19:15

TheLongRider what a gorgeous cat, his face especially. And Billycat looks like he's actually smiling! - happy birthday.
Sounds like Ollie does not quite have the skills for the job in this instance! I have mostly been laughing at crazycat's complete inability to get that it is still raining and given the number of time I have dried her I've shut her in for the night early. She is having reindeer bozita cat food today!! Reindeer Confused not the obvious choice and not one she looks very impressed with though she loves the beef. Hmm

Ollivander84 · 15/05/2017 19:26

It's a dreadful idea. Sorry.

Ski37 · 15/05/2017 19:37

I thought having been an indoor cat for the 18 months of his life before I got him that Elvis wouldn't like the rain- not so- it's been pouring down all day but I let him out when I got back from work and this is a picture of him when he finally came home again 1 hour later. He did enjoy being dried with a towel though! He's now meowing at me to go out again as the birds have come back to the garden, anyone would think I was torturing him hear his complaints. He's not trusted enough to come back again when it gets dark though for me to let him out again. I do feel very mean ....

Olli looks very sorry Grin.

cozietoesie I'm completely with you that in means in😺 I want him to be able to go out 'catting' but only when it's not a risk to him. He's currently obsessed with the birds that are nesting in the neighbours garden - and that in itself is giving me the massive guilts as I'd hate for him to disturb the nesting birds or get the fledglings- but he will still come when I rattle his treats. It's getting more difficult though as I think he's starting to realise that the rattle of treats means he needs to come back in- and he doesn't want to do that so he's giving me the run around before he finally gives in 😬

Ski37 · 15/05/2017 20:10

Although despite his ' yowlings ' he is doing a pretty good impression of being a contented cat !

Is it too hot for a spot of fire with you?

Ski37 · 15/05/2017 21:44

Just before he bit me for being too over affectionate..... he bit me to get my attention before this.... 😹
