@Weedsnseeds1 I might have to take you upon that! She's not averse to hunting but given her general laziness and lack of prowess in all things cat (regularly gets stuck up trees), I'm all but convinced she's actually a dog.

Sunbathing!!

Monkey is sitting on my lap, thus rendering me stuck to the sofa. I am very very hungry and pregnant, so have a hunger induced headache. But to be graced with his presence on my lap (he prefers DP) is the greatest acclaim Monkey can bestow, so I guess I'm going hungry.. Hmm

Uh oh... Maisie has discovered she can jump up on the counters.... Freya is going to have to find somewhere else to hide from her!

The minute you put something on that heater, Sev has to settle down on it.

You're very tolerant, cao. Surfaces are a No Go area in this household. (House Rule.)

caoraich · 22/04/2017 15:08

We have managed to train Freya to stay off the drying rack bit and the dining table but gave up on the rest. She likes to sit in the sink under a running tap (the freak) who am I to stop her! Grin

Maisie I think will be more challenging!

Ollie and his fang wanted a nap with his human Hmm

Snorg is being very vocal and checking out her new to. (Think it might me aimed at kittens though) Fatty is flipping around the house looking daggers at me.

The cats think that human's have this odd 'thing' in this household (not going on surfaces) but they comply. Smile

Cozie - I've always given up on that battle as I'm sure that when I'm out she does what she jolly well likes anyway! Do you think they learn not to do it ever?? Maybe I've been unfair assuming she disobey me the minute my back is turned!

Crazycat has been out, and made me miss my bus as I didn't want to leave her out for hours. She cares very little for things like timings and buses Grin

cozietoesie · 22/04/2017 19:31

Siamese learn carefully - but then they're very easy to train. Other cats sometimes 'forget' if they're in hot pursuit for example - but I just 'remind them' of the rule.

Of course, I'm not daft. Roasts etc aren't left lying around on a surface. Wink

YesItsMeIDontCare · 22/04/2017 19:49

Now out for our evening perambulation Grin.

He's got his name on his harness! Smile

Weedsnseeds1 · 22/04/2017 21:06

I love the way Leroy fluffs out around his jacket!

YesItsMeIDontCare · 22/04/2017 21:09

I had to have his name on 'cause so many people stop for a chat and ask me! We've just moved to a new area and we're already attracting some attention Grin.

He's back to watching a Birdie Video before bed. I don't let anyone else watch TV in bed!

YesItsMeIDontCare · 22/04/2017 21:10

@Weedsnseeds1 - from the right angle he looks like he's got an Elizabethan Ruff!

EachandEveryone · 22/04/2017 22:04

Where do you go with a harness can my little indoor urban cat go for a walk or will the traffic terrify her?

YesItsMeIDontCare · 22/04/2017 22:17

@EachandEveryone - I started off with just putting the harness on him to go in to the garden and he took to it quite well so now we do go for actual walks. There's a lot of grassy areas and alleyways by me so we walk a lot of those. Traffic is 50/50 as to whether he'll cack his furry pants or not so I do keep him on a very short lead when we're walking next to roads and I have to be very dog aware and pick him up if there's one coming our way. It's not much like walking a dog - Leroy mooches and I follow. If I want him to go a different way he lies down in protest and I have to pick him up Grin.

To be honest it was only because Leroy showed a genuine desire to go out, if he hadn't then I wouldn't have bothered. If your indoor girl is perfectly happy as she is then... well... if it ain't broke don't fix it!
