want2beme thank you she is adorable and very busy but only patient if she's in the mood. She's still quite young so she sits nicely for a while then goes off to chase her tail..

She's certainly a pretty little girl.

Just had a little play with the alpha female, before bedtime. She got bored very quickly and has now retired.

Having a tummy rub

The upstairs cat is v tired this Sunday morning.

This morning I was woken by the Man Human holding maisie aloft and singing the circle of life.

Freya and I were unimpressed.

Excellent ... though tbh I am not sure Maisie is all that impressed either...
I am having a lazy day and crazycat is in and out and in and out and... again. Hmmm. What Ollivander said about hating to be shut out and that being related to a long period as a stray - that is definitely true here. Glad it's warmer so I don't freeze - maybe I should get a cat flap...

Ollie has been out and surveyed, hidden in the shade and demanded back in as "the sun, it burns, I am vampire fang cat"

Mr C has enjoyed his toilette this morning in a hanging basket.

Black boy is chilling out on the tiles and tabby is being served by one of his many slaves.

Ha! I do that with Frankie cao . With singing and trooping around, holding him aloft. I can't say he's overly impressed by it either .

Maisie looks sort of ........tolerant.

My neighbour has popped round to quiz me about da bird toy. One of their cats is elderly, won't climb etc and mainly lazes in the sun
I was playing with da bird toy when he tore across the grass, hurtled himself in the air and slammed down to trap the feather
This continued for some time!!! They've gone to buy him one

Meanwhile Ollie is... Well I'm not entirely sure

The kittens are learning to climb trees . The one cat can scramble inelegantly up the tree but then struggled to get down. Mean owner slave that I am, I was too interested in trying to take pictures than helping him.

If you look carefully at the 2nd picture, you can see his awkward jump out of the tree.

The last picture is of the two kittens play fighting with each other, with the older one staying out the way (she's loving the sunny weather and that BBQ cover is one of her favourite okaces). It illustrates why we had to get a pair and not just a single kitten, who would have spent his time hassling the old cat.

I bought one for Seniorboy. He looked at the feathers and then his eye - rather languidly but still in a pointed fashion - travelled up the string, along the rod, up my arm and finally to my face. He then, slightly uninterestedly, put out a desultory paw to tap the feather. Then walked away.

I felt that he was indulging me.

Jeff is mainly being unhappy because we put a bell on him. Because he ate a bird in front of my gran.

Goodness. He looks T'd off!

I must get a da bird for asbo, he'd love one.

Jeff is not your freind right now! The collar will disappear.

I heard a program on r4 saying if it wasn't for predation we'd be knee deep in songbirds.
