Fluffycloudland77 · 09/04/2017 13:31

What did you rename Bella as?.

ElizaDontlittle · 09/04/2017 18:17

I am full of a hundred and one questions about how you get a cat to not vomit all over the car travel well, and tolerate the harness... but it sounds a great life! I miss my girly loads when I go away!

Well, today I let crazycat go outside. Been dithering for the 18 months since I got her (fairly busy road), and last summer I wanted to let her out as she was desperate to go outside but STBXH didn't so we spent the summer trying to stop her flinging herself out of every cracked open window! And today...I went for it. She chased next doors cat out of our garden, walked around on the fences between the next couple of gardens ... and came back in for tea. She is now asleep on the floor by my feet. I think I will call that a success.

It's funny when they first go out, isn't it? Frankie showed no interest at all really until he'd been neutered at almost a year old. He started sticking his nose out and prancing around the porch, desperately wanting to go further but too afraid. DP, the great softy, spent HOURS sat outside with him so he felt safe. Big dafties Grin.

How is your boy after his holiday Weeds? Settled home?

dementedpixie · 09/04/2017 20:20

My boys are back from their weekend at my sister's and sounds like they had fun bonding with her rabbit! Back to their usual positions for a wee while!

Ozzy's just started going for a mooch round our garden too. He is so happy out there, chasing flies and snoozing under th rhododendron. We've managed to cat proof for now and these sunny days ha be been lovely for him.

Eek! They are so cute pixie Smile. My Pip and my dog loved our guinea pigs. They would sit and mind them with DS while I was cleaning them out. Sadly the piggies are no more and it put me off small furries. They don't live long enough Sad.

Jurassic's cat needs CAT PANTS

Weedsnseeds1 · 09/04/2017 21:29

Eliza he just travels well, but only take him a maximum 2 hours from home, so if there are any issues I can take him back and call the cat sitter. Harness training, I read everything I could about it. Ended up plonking the jacket on him, attaching the lead and off we went. He is a very cooperative cat and will walk up and down a room to heel with me without a lead. He's not normal.
Heman yes, no problem apart from the bird killing. We have had a discussion about killing mice is OK ( but really, should be outdoor toys) but not birds. He listened attentively, I'm not completely convinced he will comply, but seemed contrite at the time.

Jurassictit on first look I thought your cat had been hitting the catnip a bit hard..... My eyes aren't the best.
Ollivander Ollie is a fab fella.

cozietoesie · 10/04/2017 12:37

I rather think that Jurassic's cat has been hitting everything a bit hard! Grin

The young princess tried to take on the old king, but a quick slap put her in her place and the old king reigns, forever.

Look who's been outside, reinforced upon nextdoor's lovely gentle boy that she's the boss now, and had a lovely back scratch!

Who's the loveliest calico lady in the whole street then? Adorable.

Mr C is just finishing off the dine-in-for-a-tenner chicken now. Shame I can't post sound effects, roary champing of frenzied love.

Fish tonight was half price so I bought him his own kipper. Do you think it's too salty for him? I think so, I'm going to be vv mean with his portion size (this happens rarely).

Ollivander84 · 10/04/2017 18:06

Doing some kitty yoga (while staring at his human obviously!)

cozietoesie · 10/04/2017 18:09

Well. If 'yoga' means lazing and stretching? Grin

LanaorAna1 · 10/04/2017 18:10

The look of love :)

HemanOrSheRa · 10/04/2017 18:14

That tummy is asking for a raspberry to be blown on it Eliza Smile.

Ollivander84 · 10/04/2017 18:14

Well he did wake up at 1pm. Then back to sleep at 3pm. Briefly stretched. Howled for a while and now asleep again with his head in my neck Hmm

ElizaDontlittle · 10/04/2017 18:19

All things in moderation I guess - too salty for regular consumption but can their kidneys cope with a one off? Lucky Mr C getting his own tea as well as posh chicken!

Oh, I meant to tell you. Sunday morning, at church, and I play guitar. I went to grab my plectrum from my skirt pocket... and came out with a tube of lick-e-lix!!!! There was a plectrum too thankfully Grin

RubbishMantra · 10/04/2017 18:25

Well LM's just attempted to steal my glasses...

. Grin
Ollivander84 · 10/04/2017 18:29

I took a packet of beef wet cat food up for stable cat (Ollie chucks up if he eats beef Hmm)
Started emptying the pouch and it never hit the bowl, she just opened her mouth and gulped. With a threat of claws when I went too slow. Have never seen a cat eat like her at all GrinGrin
