I love cat threads. Lost my childhood ones a few month back, I miss going to me mams and seeing them sat in the vegetable garden sat chatting like a couple of old men.

DH is supposedly allergic, the knobhead.

EachandEveryone · 15/03/2017 11:42

Got back from her ten day stay at the cattery today they wanted to keep her. I bet they say that to all the slaves! She's exhausted and got straight into her bed. The builders are still here and not impressed that madam has turned up and have shut the kitchen doors. I just hope she will use the tray in my bedroom she hasn't done before. This is her catching up on her Broadchurch and nodding off about five minutes ago

Can't you get a couple of those hairless cats?

UnbornMortificado · 15/03/2017 12:39

Each I've never had indoor cats and I'm on a main road. Looking at moving later this year so hopefully can give it some more thought. He could always live in the shed (DH obviously not a cat)

I'll make do with the cat section here till then.

hollinhurst84 · 15/03/2017 12:46

Spying on "important cat things" apparently

Mine isn't impressed with me as I've been with other cats at Cats Protection this morning. Oh and I met some kittens

Omg I want one!

Kiroro · 15/03/2017 14:24

@EachandEveryone pretty!

Rarity75 · 15/03/2017 14:26

I'm cleaning and trying to sit on my back door step with a cuppa. Boy cat is sitting on my knee spying birds and trying to drench me in tea! Girl cats are chasing the brush and trying to get themselves chucked out with the rubbish by diving into the bin bag Hmm

Vinorosso74 · 15/03/2017 14:27

They are gorgeous aren't they? They are off to foster care, will be neutered in a while and no doubt get homed superfast.

dementedpixie · 15/03/2017 14:36

I've just started letting my kitties out in the back garden but have a small pond so have to go out and supervise. Today is the first day neither of them have ended up in it...yay!! The first day it was Dusty who went in and the next 2 days it was Storm although he was jumping out of the way of an attack by Dusty the second time so not entirely his fault! They scrabbled out pretty damn quickly each time. They are wee buggers to get back in the house though.

Thought I'd lost Storm yesterday and even stopped the washing machine mid cycle to check I hadn't drowned him (I hadn't thank goodness). Just when I reached full panic stations and had checked every room and wardrobe several time he strolls out my bedroom with not a care in the world. Don't know where he was but he ignored me when I was searching for him.

I also have a new scratch today from trying to give them worming tablets...that's me for another 3 months. Flea treatment will be next (but not today)

cozietoesie · 15/03/2017 15:05

Use a spot on wormer. (Pills are a line in the sand for my cats.)

BakiniAtoll · 15/03/2017 15:11

Our little ball of hate is looking out the window plotting evil.

user1489589714 · 15/03/2017 15:16

I have two fluffies. Walked past one this morning on my way to the bathroom, who was sitting on a box on the landing. A few minutes later I came out of the bathroom and the other one was sitting on the box instead. I swear they are trying to deliberately wreck with my head.

cozietoesie · 15/03/2017 15:19

Are you sure it was a different cat? It may already be too late! Grin

user1489589714 · 15/03/2017 15:42

cozietoesie - you have me doubting myself now. Their cunning plan might just be working....!

Soubriquet · 15/03/2017 16:27

Toots is loving this warmer weather

I am opening the windows and she comes and goes as she pleases. Learned how to get in and out the window pretty quickly

Normally she has to beg at the door to be let out and try and get attention from outside to come in.

She's been sleeping very well at night now with being busy all day

Studying the Normal Distribution Function.

LanaorAna1 · 15/03/2017 18:42

Normal distribution function of key items in my home:

Pepperoni pieces on thawing pizza 4pm: 9, random
Pepperoni pieces as above 630pm: 0
Cat on sofa 631pm: 1
Human in M&S replacing pizza 632pm: 1

MsHooliesCardigan · 15/03/2017 19:03

Lanaor That means absolutely nothing to me, it's DS1's A level homework Grin However, the cat seems to find it very interesting.

EachandEveryone · 15/03/2017 19:35

Mines used the litter tray in the bedroom that I had set up this morning for when the builders are here I don't know whether to be pleased or not!

She's back to her demanding self after been fed twice daily at the cattery she's just eaten three dinners in a row wouldn't let l sit down until I'd fed her again and then again.

LapCatLicker · 15/03/2017 19:50

My old girl is grumpy that I'm taking photos of her because she's trying to get comfy.

ElizaDontlittle · 15/03/2017 23:56

Lanaor Grin she has you very well trained.
And Each the cattery definitely don't say that about all their residents, no. Crazycat hisses and scratches. She is the sweetest, most affectionate girl to me - I don't think they believe me!
I have had a shadow all day today. My Crohn's is playing up and my girlie has me very well supervised!

Belle2828 · 16/03/2017 08:42

Where have these come from Corey-Pip is wondering!
