Should I just accept that this blanket is no longer mine?

I have (?had) a lovely snuggly blanket. There are three others in the house which are the same but different colours. Dgirl cat has decided that my blanket is her blanket. She will walk past the others to get to mine. It is deep purple and she is black so she is virtually camouflaged against it. She will sit on it even when I am underneath it - she is not a lap cat by nature and isn't madly keen on me, it is just when the blanket is there. She then gets annoyed when I move/ take blanket with me to bed. Should I just accept that it is hers or is there any hope that I can wean her onto a different blanket?

It's her blanket now. I've lost two this way, and a dressing gown.

Yes maybe I am naive to think it would be possible, sounds though as if she might adopt the new one too. She is giving me an evil look because I moved her onto different blanket. Is no point in taking photo on my/her blanket because you can't see her. She hasn't learnt that in this house camouflage is a bad thing because it means people try to sit on her quite often. She was too busy getting to the front of the cute and fluffy queues so her brainpower is somewhat lacking.

We have a very limited time with items of comfort in our homes, as these will, I'm afraid, be claimed by THE CAT(S).

This evening, I have been turfed out of my lovely cosy fireside chair & then the sofa by cat no 1. The armchair I'm currently sitting on is being eyed up by cat no 2, so, it's only a matter of time.

Tonight, my king size bed will be taken over by 2 of my 3 cats and I will have to make do with a tiny slither, with my legs at very awkward angles, for the night.
