I feel I know the names of a lot of MN cats but I often get confused about which cat owns which human. Shall we do a little show and tell?

This is PuffinCat (Cindy). We've had her about three months. She was rescued by CPL with her kittens. They think she's about three years old but we suspect she might be younger. She loves attacking my feet and DH's hands, crawling under the duvet and snuggling on the sofa, but rarely on our laps. And turkey breast slices, she goes nuts forb those. She hates plastic bags and dogs and doesn't care much for going outside, or for Dreamies. We suspect she is a bit hard of thinking as she still hasn't figured out the cat flap isn't a one way system

My lovely Tilly adopted from the NAWT last year - so frightened of everything and everyone when I first brought her home - now ruling the household with an (adorable) iron paw.

Gorgeous cats! This is Coco who we adopted from CP aged 6, she's now 14 and is the sweetest, gentlest cat.

And pending a successful home check we should be getting Blue in the next two weeks

Tiger-Lily is my lovely black and white girl and Bam Bam is my moody mostly black girl.

Both born to a stray who turned up and gave birth on my white fluffy rug!

Here are our 2 new additions

This is the beautiful Paddycat. She is an angel.

We don't know why her tongue has started sticking out all the time recently. She's been to the vets and is in good health.

First pic is honey my 1 year old girl. 2nd pic Earl my 2 yo squirrel catcher & 3rd pic is my loyal mackerel tabby Rory. I love my boys & girl.

Please could I have Honey. She looks so like my boys. Bet she would keep my two in line! Gorgeous.

Little curly colourpointed Devon Rex is Little M, sleek black and white moggy is MCat.

In spite of his pedigree, Little M favours drinking from the toilet. MCat looks on in disgust, then cleans "eau de toilette" off little M's head.

Here are my two. Little Pip is my girl, she's staked out her position under the table where she can keep an eye my boy cat Frankie 'The Fuckles' Knuckles. Although this is him curled up on the bed with me right now. They are both rescues/cast offs that I have acquired through work.

Grey and white cat - Nimbus. About 9yo and eternally furious at the world.

White and tortoiseshell - Rey. 8 months, quite shy and very affectionate.

Black and white - Applejack. 8 months. Very daft and very cuddly. Follows me around all day, getting stuck.

Applejack and Rey are brother and sister, we got them from the Blue Cross. They'd been found abandoned with their very young mum.

I should have said that Paddycat's real name is Purdey and if she chose to speak she would sound like Joanna Lumley. She is also a rescue cat, her old owners moved and just left her. No one wanted to adopt her either, she was at the centre for ages.

She's an absolute sweetheart but a bit thick.

This little lady is a proper lap ( or rather in your clothes) type of cat. Burmese 6 months.

This is Tiggy. As a kitten and a growed-up cat.

She is a problem eater and I feel envious of posters whose cats will eat anything.

Aah, Frankie Knuckles, Heman. I remember when you first posted about him I thought he was named after the "Superstar DJ".

Your black and whites are lovely and sleek and shiny.

This is Jasper. I adopted him from CPL nearly a year ago. He has FIV so he's a house cat but seems quite content. He likes a fuss and a cuddle but also needs his own space. He's around 2 years old, so still quite young which makes me worry about what he's going to be like with the Christmas tree. I think it's going to look like the world's most exciting cat toy to him!

Paddy That's awful. Why take on a pet if you won't take care of it.
