What do you feed your cat

I have two cats. They are almost 10 months old. I have been buying hills dry cat food on the advise of my vet. He recommended dry for their teeth and said it has the right nutritional balance for them but it's €48 for a 10kg bag which last about 25 days.

Has anyone any recommendations for an alternative. I don't mind spending that money on their food even though it is pricy but they have no variety and they don't even seem excited when I feed them in the morning :(

Also the last time I bought their food a got two flexible treatments costing almost €14 each Shock I'm sure I saw them a lot cheaper in asda while shopping in the north (living just across the border in ROI )
I would love to hear what you feed your cat and where you buy it

Isn't Animonda higher protein than many others? I seem to recall owners saying their cats eat less of it/are more easily satisfied by it.

(On the other hand, killing and eating a rabbit is always a possibility with your lad.)

it doesn't matter how much better for them the good-and-wildly-expensive stuff is if the little sods won't eat it

I've just given Seniorboy, for his tea, a pouch of something that would have been destined for the CPL box - as a 'spoiler meal'. He's eating it as if he hadn't been fed for a week!

Well the amiondas been refused. Whiskas has been picked at.

The cat and I are currently not speaking to each other. I hate aldi right now, I never had any problems until they changed recipe.

Mine used to love various flavours of Bozita, which made me very happy because it was good, & not expensive, & I could recycle the cartons.

But they suddenly turned their noses up at all of them. I ended up giving a carrier-bag full away AngrySad
