This time they found the box as well. Last time it was 4 of them and mine adopted them so they thought they were hers and I took them in. This time they've realised someone must be dumping them. Only one found. Exactly the same age as the other ones when they were found and looks exactly the same Sad

I've taken it in for now but I can't keep it on indefinitely because my 4 have a delicate balance as it is.

Why do people do that

Just took the cover off the home made kitten run and not only is there poo, but there's poo in the litter tray!!!

Obviously they just needed a little bit of dark, enclosed space to themselves :D!!!!

Yay for poo watch Hurr1cane!!

You are a fantastic foster mum - the kittens are lucky to have you Thanks

Hurr1cane · 23/09/2014 17:17

There's been so many people offering and giving their help for these kittens here! I've even found a home for one of them. I am so grateful!

I'm just happy for a chance to be making up bottles again Wink I'm quite broody on the sly, not that DS is giving me chance to feed them Sad mean.

I've had to crop DSs face off but look at tabby2's face! I don't think she was appreciating the kiss

Typical ungrateful cat face (love it!) Grin

Hurr1cane · 23/09/2014 19:06

Ok so I've had no luck getting through to any rescues :( is there a way I can rehome the 3 that need to be eventually myself that is the most responsible? I don't want them ending up as someone's spur of the moment pet that they abandon when they're big

isseywithcats · 23/09/2014 23:07

at their age you dont need to panic about getting hold of a rescue you still have a while but if you do end up homing them yourself ask for a donation as someone who will pay for the kitten is less liable to have poor intentions, i wouldnt e mail the rescues google local ones and phone them direct, the rescue i work for how they work is they take your details then send out an email for foster parents then when someone offers they arrange for you to take them in and the foster to pick them up the same day

As a cat lover just wanted to say thanks for your hard work and love, hurr1cane.

Hurr1cane · 24/09/2014 11:29

Thanks everyone. They all seem to be eating now which is good. To be honest I think they're older than I first thought. They seem to be able to climb and jump quite well and their eyes aren't blue

OP posts:
isseywithcats · 24/09/2014 12:23

their eyes change from blue to green at around 5 weeks and eating on their own indicates around 5-6 weeks as well

sunshineday · 24/09/2014 12:54

Have pm'ed you.

Hurr1cane · 24/09/2014 13:01

Thanks issey. They're all eating now.

Hurr1cane · 24/09/2014 15:47

My friends mum has asked to come and see the black and white girl tomorrow in view of taking her when she's ready, so that would be 3 of the kittens reserved for homes already!

Just the black and white boy to find a home for now. He's the best one as well! Keeps escaping from the kitten house and running under the sofa and shouting.

The kittens are very lucky to be found by youGrin. Good luck with them.

Hurr1cane · 25/09/2014 10:15

Well an exciting day today. The kittens got a delivery of kitten food from a lovely MNer and I'm currently waiting for someone to turn up to see black and white girl to see if she wants to give her a home!

Full tabby is reserved and called Delilah :)

Tabby with white bits is reserved and they're thinking pepper.

If this viewing is successful then it's just the little black and white boy waiting for someone to want him.

I am really happy that they're going to have homes and not be another stray/ feral/ dead statistic around here.

Thanks everyone for all your help!
Everyone has been so kind with their advice, offers of help and kitten supplies!

sunshineday · 25/09/2014 13:28

How did the viewing go today? Hope they want her. Any luck with the little boy one yet? You are are doing a amazing job with them all. Thank you Flowers

Hurr1cane · 25/09/2014 16:12

They want her SmileSmileSmile

But they want me to keep her until she's had her injections (which they're paying for) because they had a cat that died a few months ago and are worried about it picking something up in the house. I think they're being over cautious but it proves how sensible they are.

After talking to hurr1cane the little tabby ( pepper Grin )is nervous and I was wondering would It be a good Idea if I collected her from hurr1cane sooner rather then later so I can gain her trust so she won't get upset again by being moved? any advice would be great thanks

MairzyDoats · 25/09/2014 19:16

Argh, we're on the lookout for a male kitten and I would totally have your black and white boy if you were closer. :(
