Need urgent advice for a tiny kitten!

I've rescued a kitten who has been rejected by it's mum. It was one of two, Mum took the bigger one and never returned. Poor little thing was calling for her all yesterday and it broke my heart keeping my distance but today it started to go very quiet and shakey so I've taken it in. I know nothing about kittens no idea how old it is (fits easily into my hand, massive eyes and ears, very skinny wobbly legs that look a bit too long for its little body). I've given it tiny drops of milk from a syringe (sp?) prob takes 1ml at a time before it starts to refuse. What do I do (mostly regarding feeding but other advice would be much appreciated)? Live abroad so no shelters or rescue homes so I'm on my own with this one.

Poor 3. What a lucky little girl Coco was to have such a happy, cared for, spoilt rotten life. You did good

Oh how sad Sad. Poor you 3. She had a fabulous but short life filled with love and care. You should be very proud of all you have done for her.

Thanks for all the kind words, they really are the comfort. I've told the DC that Coco's mummy came for her in the night as she missed her so much and I didn't want to wake them. They seem happy enough with that. The eldest is 6. Even though I had got to the point that I thought she would make it I was still a little worried that she just didn't seem much bigger. Only yesterday one of my friends commented on how tiny she still was. I just grew a bit too fond of the little fluffy love Sad. Once the DC were all tucked up for the night she would snuggle up on my lap and pounce at my fingers and although I know that at the end of the day she was just a little kitten I really could see her personality and began to think of her as part of the family. I never quite understood that untill now.
DS's Grommits went fine that hospital was really lovely and DS is now safely back home with us recovering. We tend to speak Turkish when out and about so people don't get paranoid and so the doctors etc had only ever heard us talking Turkish. When he woke up after his opperation and started jabbering away in English they were stunned. Grin
Going to go a check up on Toddles and Missy and hopefully kittens before I make some nice healthy soup. Thanks again everyone you all really helped me just get the baisics right with looking after Coco. I hadn't got a clue Thanks
