Does your cat do the 'pretending the food is shit' thing?

You know when you put the food down and the scrape the ground with their paws as if burying a turd' Hmm

My cat is an ungrateful bastard.

Now he has gone out to kill something. No doubt he will bring me a bit to show me his preferred food Angry

Grrrrrrr

no, but my boy does jump up to his dish when it's half full and look at me as if to say "where's the rest" i always cave and fill it up to the top.

Only feed the sachets to my cat.
Old cat had tins that were left in the fridge that probably did 3 different meals.
Decided I didn't want this precious boy eating freezing cold food from the fridge (daft aren't I)so he has sachets (yes the cat version of Taste the Difference)
I sometimescook him a piece of frozen coley or cod from the freezer in the microwave, and the bugger even sniffed that the other day and stalked off without touching it. I thought 'Sod you mate' and half of it was still there the following morning to be thrown out.
I don't think he has ever caught anything in the garden, but he does get very excited in the summer if there is a large fly buzzing in the living room window. He's up on the window sill and he usually gets his fly, stuns it with his paw and proceeds to crunch his way through it.
Mmmmmmmmm lovely!

My old cat Felix was a pain, if you bought a box of pouches (he only liked Whiskas even though his name was Felix :) he didn't like the stuff) you ended up throwing half away. He would nearly always eat Oh So Meaty chicken and some the posh stuff made more for the owners than the cats.
My new cat has sinusitis and if he gets bunged up, becomes picky with his food.

My cat does the pretending to bury her food thing, before this cat I had never seen one do that before, I thought it was just my cat that did this. She also does the thing that booyhoo's cat does and refuses to eat out of her bowl unless it is sufficiently full so that you can't see any of the bottom of the bowl at all.
