in the process of adopting a rescue dog but don’t like her name. Looking for suggestions if anyone has any ideas please

Everything is going to be confusing for her so try to pick a similar name. One that suits you but also one that is similar so she can pick it up easily without really noticing a difference.
BTW she's beautiful, do you know how old she is & her history?

For the name, something similar to what she is used to. Maybe try a couple of variations; sometimes they will let you know which they prefer.

I agree with this. If she recognises her name it's going to be confusing for her. If you need to change it, go for something similar or rhyming. Or just learn to love her current name because it's attached to her.
