What daft thing has your dog growled at recently?

I hear growling from the bathroom. Went in to check, and my daft dog is growling at..... the cartoon squirrel on the Who Gives a Crap Christmas toilet paper wrapping! 🤔🤣

Labrador freaked at a tree peering suspiciously over a fence at him this morning 🙄

Oh, and then a giant inflatable penguin that was DEFINITELY following him.

A plastic bag inflated by the wind and bobbing along ominously.
She also barks at the Christmas tree when it's first put up, and at those street cleaner automated cart things.

Our old dog used to growl at the cuddly toy in the Gadget show give away. Our current dog doesn’t like anyone putting the Christmas Elf hat on.

I don't have a dog, but reading this is making me wonder if dogs aren't actually horses?

A few weeks ago a bunch of kids had built a snowman on the green opposite my house. Dog obviously thought this was a particularly stationery burglar, casing the joint, and went ballistic every time I opened the door.

My Lab growled unexpectedly this morning, at a little springer spaniel puppy. I think it was because the owner was making a fuss of my springer and he thought that wasn't right. Previous Lab growled at the Hoover every single time (and he was nearly 16 when he died) and usually at the lawnmower.

She doesn't like the blow up reindeer on the lawn next door. All her heckles go up seeing it wobbling about in the breeze.

Mine barks at the light up reindeer in the garden over the road. Can't say I blame him!!

My dog seems to recognise himself in a mirror - as opposed to thinking it is another dog. Perhaps he reaches the standard of Lacan and sees himself as an object. Despite obvious drawbacks he might be quite clever.
