I hear growling from the bathroom. Went in to check, and my daft dog is growling at..... the cartoon squirrel on the Who Gives a Crap Christmas toilet paper wrapping! 🤔🤣

Mine don’t growl or bark at anything really except they both fight over the polar bear stuffed toy and yesterday they fought over who sat where whilst watching traffic - large labs so they obviously sit on the window sill !

next door has a tiny dog that barks at them all day from the mutual fence - mine go to the fence and prance up and down just to wind him up - there are several holes in the fence where they can spy each other or in the case of the little dog put its nose in slightly and snarls -mine wait for it to do this and then wee on it. My neighbour was hoping her dog would learn after a few wees in the face but its 3 years now ….. fortunately my neighbour blames her dogs and not mine !

Next door and their next door have this ... however, barky dog owner then comes out and screeches at wandering dog to go inside as it's upsetting her dog, so wandering dog owner will come out and barky dog owner will shout at them too 🙄

One of the kids was watching a show on YouTube you know the ones with kids playing with toys there was a kid playing with a plastic toy dog and my Lab went nuts barking at the TV. She also barks at her own reflection, the wind, stuffed toys, fresh air 😂 she loves all people tho and wont bark at anyone that walks in the door and just licks them to death

My daughter’s lab stands up on her back legs to look out the window. For some reason she often farts in the process. Yesterday it was a loud audible squeaky fart and she turned round and growled at her own backside 😆

My dog only growls in his sleep So I’ve no idea but we were out walking the other night and he stopped to investigate some Christmas lights on a hedge. All of a sudden he jumped with all 4 paws leaving the ground. The reason… there was a leaf on the pavement underneath him 😂.

Part of the morning ritual is straight out the back door, zoom to the bottom of the garden and ensure that the squirrels and birds scatter in every direction. Then he returns gruffling a bit in a self satisfied 'good job well done' sort of way.

He's has a minor op this week so currently not on form, just stands on the patio next to the back door looking at the wildlife. Weirdly I think they're confused also. They just freeze and look at him as if to say "it's your move dude, you're supposed to run down here". Even when he pads back in looking a bit sorry for himself, they're still down there like statues thinking "wtf is going on round here..."

I'm sure sure normal service will resume when his cone is removed and the garden ecosystem can re-establish its well worn sunrise tradition.

The blue light on the front of the sky box, especially if it’s swirling. She forgets about it for ages then will suddenly notice it again and lie there grumbling her disapproval at it.

Watering cans.

Once upon a time, years ago, there was a frog in one that jumped out at him and ever since he regards them as the spawn of Satan, goes crazy barking and tries to run away.

Took him to a dog friendly garden centre once and there was a whole display of them! That was embarrassing.

There's a Weimeraner locally that he doesn't like (generally loves all other dogs) and if he sees that guy (on lead a long way off as owner and I know to avoid one another) they have a bit of a Mexican stand off posturing at one another but it's silent. Then after the dog has gone well past he does a bit of grumbling to himself for a while like a bloke down the pub who 'could'a been a contenda'

Her new roller ball food/treat dispenser. She’s a smart dog but rather than work out how to push the ball to release the goodies, she went did the old “failsafe “ woof and bounce method. 🙄

Mine used to growl at my Daughters Miss Piggy slippers...would go up to them growl and grumble every day then he got a bit brave and grabbed the left one and threw it in the air.
Did a triumphant flick of his backside and proudly strutted in the kitchen for a treat
