My gorgeous boy is just the best boy, he jumps up next to me and snuggles and does little contented sighs.
If he has a chew he gets on the sofa waiting for me to tell him to get in his bed.
He's scared of doors.
He loves being chased.
He will do the biggest puppy eyes for marmite toast.

My two sausages are the best furry hot water bottles you could ever find, they slot perfectly down the side of each thing on the sofa and rest a head on each knee - we have it down to a fine art. Then I can put my feet up on their ramp and it's generally a perfect arrangement.

Also wonderful hoovers during baby weaning. I didn't realise how much mess DD14month actually makes until I fed her at my mums house (her German shepherd was nowhere near as efficient!)

Poorpaws that is exactly why I bloody love dogs. What a sweetheart and I bet she has the best life now.

My dog, Willow, loves playing football, but won’t bother me if I’m busy, sometimes, I’ll be doing the washing up, look out the window and see her lying halfway down the garden in a “ready” pose; when I look behind me, there’s always a pile of footballs that she’s brought in and dropped there for when I’m finished, no barking or whining, just silently letting me know that the moment I’m finished, she’s waiting.
She also watches tv, and absolutely loved the film Eight Below.

I love everything about our springer spaniel, I think she's perfect and I thank my lucky stars every day that we chose her from the litter.

One of the things I marvel at is how utterly calm, reliable and sensible she is in any circumstance. Even for a springer of only a year old. She's so adaptable that as long as she's with one of her favourite people she's happy. And it makes our lives so easy as she's a delight wherever we take her.

We've taken her everywhere with us - large crowds, busy traffic, an air show with really loud displays, beach, shops, firework night (in the garden, she came out voluntarily and watched with interest! ), strange houses, farms, school, everywhere.

Nothing throws her, she's totally bomb proof with everything, just a laid back alert interest in all the goings on, perfect behaviour and a constant tail wag. She's an absolute gem of a dog.

@poorpaws i’m crying - what an absolute sweetheart she is!

I love how my boy snuggles up with dd every day after school - she’s an anxious child and finds school hard - he’s always there to greet her with his waggly tail and he has no idea how much it means to her that he loves her the best out of us all!

@2ndMrsdeWinter
She is wonderful, we adore her. She's had a very bad 4.5 years but her future will be fantastic. I've even made provisions if anything happens to me, she'll still have a good home and will never be in rescue again.
