Please, please do your research. I’ve just cried for 20 mins at the state of this shitty country & the way we treat/use animals.

A rescue I follow & support takes in puppy mill dogs & they’re so broken. Some just walk round in small circles because they’ve lived in a 1m shed for 5 years churning out puppies, some run, hide & shake on sight of a human, often wetting themselves in fear. They’re so shut down.

Please look beyond the cute puppy & find out how it’s parents have been treated.

Sorry to post & I’m not meaning to preach but it upsets me so much.

Crying for 20 minutes is excessive, its not a nasty post

I'm not being vile, I am being a grown up - did you want me to come along and pat you on the head and say there there?

I'm not sure what the value is coming onto a post about the damage puppy farms do and this is your contribution? Unless your aim was to just make people feel shitty?

I got my pup from a breeder I've known for 42 years. That breeder breeds one breed and only one breed and the lines are checkable (my dogs grandfather won best of breed at crufts). I was on a waiting list for 2 years. My previous dog was bred by my mother. The breed is now at risk.

I have a friend who has a rescue she got from abroad and the whole thing makes me uneasy. The way the rescue operation works makes me uncomfortable.

I've also reported a puppy farm that is always on Facebook and breeding lots of different breeds. The council did nothing.

You bought from a breeder that doesn't make you any better than anyone else. Rescue is the only kind way to obtain a dog. Dogs are bred for money as for all that crufts rubbish that is a cruel as anything aswell. Waited 2 years because of your snobbery when you could have got a dog in need of a home out of a kennel I dont think you are In a position to judge
