Is your dog cuddly? Do they like affection?

Maggie (3 year old border collie) loves nothing more than sitting next to us on the sofa then leaning in for a cuddle. She even puts her ‘arms’ around us to hug us. It’s usually accompanied by sloppy kisses!

He's cuddly with me all the time. However, he can be selectively cuddly with other people, including those he knows very well and really likes (and lives with!). Cuddles with them are only on his terms and almost always when I am out.

If I'm in then he just wants to be near me.

Yes, GSD x Doberman and she loves a cuddle.

I was crying the other morning (very hard time at work) and she got up on her back legs to put her paws around my neck and shoulders and licked the tears away 🥰🥹

My little dog died two years ago. He loved a cuddle. He liked any contact and was happy to have his feet played with and so on; even once let me lance a boil he had without complaint. We still miss him every day.

Our almost 40kg fluffy puppy loves a cuddle, only for a short time though as he gets too warm. He does proper hugs and tucks his head round my neck. He tries to cuddle up to our pug also. Our pug spends all day cuddling me as I work from home, he sleeps at night tucked into the crook behind my knees also.
