Sorry, this is just a vent.
6 months after losing DDog, I started looking for a puppy. Found a breeder reasonably close by, with an available litter. I went to view on Saturday. Breeder told me she was keeping a pup but hadn’t decided which one yet. She told me I was first to see them and would get my choice after her. I contacted her today, she has chosen the bitch that would have been my first choice but fine. I then said I was interested in one of the dogs, she told me she had sold him! I said I would think about the 2 pups that were left and would call her back. I called back about 10 minutes later to ask if I could back to see the remaining g dog, at which point she told me that he is reserved for a viewing on Saturday. I asked what had happened to me getting first refusal, she said I hadn’t contacted her within 24 hours of viewing - I said she told me she would let me know when she had decided on which pup she was keeping.
I am so upset right now, it took me a long time to decide to get another dog, I am really unhappy with this breeder.
