My dog has just eaten my little boys poo

Never known her to do anything like this before.

My toddler did a poo in his potty which usually gets emptied straight away but the bathroom was occupied so DH left it in the other room. Few minutes later the dog comes in licking her lips, she'd eaten everything 🤮🤢

What on earth?!?!

Dogs are gross. If you don’t want it eaten you need to tidy up straight away.

I’d probably feed a probiotic if I had one kicking around to preempt any problems

My dog is very fond of poo and is partial to sampling any he comes across so far he quite likes dog, cat, chicken, deer and hare poo but turns his nose up a cow and horse.

He also recently made himself very ill and the most likely culprit was cat poo, he his undeterred my this, I on the other hand will be grey shortly from worrying about how he'll try to do himself in next.

He also loves a bank holiday trip to the vets.

They're particularly partial to poo.

Nice big horse one especially.

And then throw it up half an hour later!

Particularly appealing on Christmas Eve just after midnight .

Me too. I always remember having a big family meal at my dad's house, while looking out of the patio doors onto....his Labrador merrily tucking into the "treasures" in the cats' tray. Gross.

It’s very delicious for them.
My dog loved a mouthful of fresh cow pat. He was really good at running along and grabbing a mouthful- he wouldn’t even have to stop because he had the timing and technique perfected. And he knew I’d pull him away.

A friends dog, growing up used to run away and hunt for dirty nappies. He’d come back from his wandering so pleased with himself

Haha so normal! Disgusting though.
My shih tzu used to eat his own poo when he was younger, he's now partial to rabbit and horse poo. And cat if he can find some.

Dogs love poo. It tastes really, really good to them.

My own dog is partial to sheep, cow and cat poo - the fresher the better.

He even ate cat poo direct from the cats bum once - poor cat was very confused when he turned round to bury it and it wasn't there 🙈🤣

My mum's dog ate a used sanitary towel it pinched from the bin.

Even grosser, at the vets, as it had eaten it whole, they managed to just fish it out rather than having to pump its stomach 🤢

We have some Middle Eastern friends who will rush to wash their hands if they ever have to touch a dog citing this reason. We always thought they were over-reacting!

Exactly this. And why I won't let DS have a stinky dog!!! Plus they are unpredictable and can be dangerous. Best stick to hamsters! (Not a cat loving family)
