What’s the thing that your dog does that always makes you laugh

Lots of people ask for advice and help about their dogs- but we all know our pups bring so much joy to our families. What does yours do that always makes you laugh?
My 35kg boy always pops up to sit on my lap on work video calls- he never does it at any other time- but he seems to know my bosses voice means cats on screen and he likes watching them go back and forth.
One of mine also hides socks in the kitchen and then goes to the back door for me to open it and then darts back to grab his prize before shooting out. It makes me laugh so much because he knows he’s outwitted me!

I don't have a dog, but there's an elderly Alsation I regularly encounter on my walk to work. He plods towards me, parks his bum on my feet and won't shift until I've fussed over him for at least 10 minutes. Dogs are the best people 😊 This is a grand thread.

Male chihuahua grumbles every time you stroke him! He's nearly 6 and it's so funny he was a cat in a previous life I'm sure.
Female chihuahua is 5 months and pinches the other ones treats in such a sly way.
I love my dogs.

My double trouble

My small dog sits up like a meerkat and waves his paws when he sees other dogs/people he wants to meet. Makes everyone laugh.

My 5 year old, 7 stone rottie who still chases her tail.

My dog climbs on me, puts his face really close to mine and tilts it to one side. This is to tell me his wants to go to bed. He truly is the boss of me!

My tiny Jack Russell sits on my lap tilts his head to look at the back of the sofa and squeaks - he wants me to grab a throw to put over us.

The medium sized mutt loves to be cuddled. Full on cuddles. Both arms around him and my head on his head. He is terrified of the tiny terrier.

The massive overgrown husky argues with my husband - although he would probably insist it is nothing more than a full and frank exchange of views. He obeys my husband first time every time but only to the letter of the law - Get down! He gets down, turns round and gets back up again!

My golden retriever has to go and answer the door whenever someone rings the bell, and he likes to bring a “gift” to greet each visitor - the gift is whatever he can find close to hand, whether it’s a cuddly toy, a grotty old chewed up sock, a loo brush, a loofah

The Amazon deliverers like it anyway.

One of the labs yips happily into her dinner bowl as she eats. Kills me every time.
The other one always tries to sneak odd bits of wood or bark from the woodpile into the house. She doesn't know how obvious it is but she looks so comically disappointed when I take it away.
The huge shepherd pup has at last realised she's too big for a lap cuddle, so she has invented her own alternative, which involves approaching sideways so that she rests her tummy on my knee.

My 40kg akita still thinks he's 8 weeks old and tries to curl up on my lap. He makes a very disgruntled soft snorting sound of disgust when he realises he can't and settles for laying completely across me and taking to most of the sofa 😂

My other akita is female and she howls at her ball. Picks it up, drops it, howls. Rinse and repeat. I think she expects it to throw itself 😂

Gets her lip stuck on her teeth

Looks at me like this when he wants to swap whatever he’s got for a treat.

Does his 'sad face' trick which is to place him head on the side of the sofa/bed/etc and then look at you raising each eye brow in turn.

Or runs straight in front past you with one of your shoes in his mouth.

Both tricks mean 'play ball with me in the garden'.

When they are caught out being naughty and look guilty. The head hangs, their gaze is fixed firmly on the floor - makes me laugh every time!

One of mine refuses to move off the stairs until I kiss her through the spindles. She can reach 4 spindles down!!

Awwwww. This is adorable.

Bounces from side to side waiting for you to kick the ball for her. Puts the car window down with her paw. Responds to 'Who's my baby?' by putting her head on my knee. 🥰

Ours likes being tucked in with a blanket!! Always makes me smile!

When my dog hears the chink of ice and lemon at cocktail hour she does a huge sigh, and clumps down on her bed.
She knows it means no more walks and we are staying in for the test of the evening 🤣

Dashing upstairs ahead of me, leaping onto the bed and rolling on his back with all four feet in the air. And refusing to stand up and go in his crate for the night until he's had enough kisses. Some nights it takes a while.

When mine wags his tail, he wags it so hard it makes his bum wiggle and it always makes me laugh.

When he gets the zoomies after a bath, runs like crazy in a circle from the landing onto my bed then back onto the landing, then tries to catch the air from the dryer in his mouth, all with the waggiest of tails - it’s very funny

If I make a meowing noise my lab starts to intently search the room for the cat. Looks really confused when she can't find her!

Well it makes everyone else laugh, not me so much. He he is a very well behaved dog, doesn't bother anyone, isn't a picnic marauder, but he has no recall whatsoever. I'll call and call him and he will ignore me completely, right up until I get the snack bag out of pocket and scrunch it a little so he can hear it and then no matter how far away he is he will sprint immediately to my side. He apparently can't hear me shrieking at the top of my lungs endlessly but can hear the slight crackle of the snack bag from 500m away

I also know a dog who comes and knocks over water bottles when his dish is empty and won't stop till you go and fill it up.
